We do what we have to do to win and we’re the best at it. I love Tyreek, but please stop mentioning the Chiefs missing him when they’re back to back champs after the trade. She came off sounding petty. In Butker's speech he actually said some may have careers, but others may find greater joy in being mother's and wives in the home. Both are okay. And even women who work, their greatest joy will come from their kids. It is called a "work life balance" for a reason. Work isn't supposed to be your life or your identity, and being a mom (especially a good mom) is a pretty awesome identity to have.

Reeeaaal careful wording there on the Rice topic. The man who originally said Rice assaulted him dropped the charges and said it was a "misunderstanding". Police are now looking into both sides as assault accusations are investigated both ways once filed to see if there was purposeful intent to cause damage of reputation. Also noticed the picture selected of Rice to be shown on screen. ESPN doing their best to shape the narrative here. Disappointing as usual.

Mahomes is at the bottom of the league in air yards per TD over the last 2 seasons at 4.3 and his average depth of target is 6.3 which is 27th!! He only has 2 TD’s over 20 yards, only 48 completions over 20 yards and this past season only 27% of his throws over 20 yards were caught compared to 14.3 air yards per TD w Tyreek and 1st in all the categories I mentioned by a long shot. You just saw this past season how much harder it was in the offense without deep threats for defenses to fear. It made life harder on Kelce, Rice & Pacheco. They need real speed that defenders at least fear and respect again for the offense to get back to what it’s been the previous 4-5 years before last year cause MVS & Hardman were not it

“You and I get to be women with careers.” The classic dilemma between “have to” and “get to.” As if HB was saying women shouldn’t have careers. Check it again-he never should on anybody-never said women shouldn’t be allowed to work by society, as you are implying with your “get to” jab. He just said that in spite of one’s career, the calling (vocation) of being a father (yes, he said virtually the same things about fatherhood) and a mother is good, praiseworthy, and higher than one’s career. Do you think oppositely? Would you look down on a woman who said she “gets to be a homemaker”? Do you somehow think that the role of mother or wife is LESS than the role of TV anchor? HB never said anything about allowing or forbidding anything or that women ‘should’ do whatever even though the media is working overtime to mischaracterize his words that way.
