I don't think he is a lawyer, he was a former financial investigator, but not a lawyer. Of course, you don't need a legal degree to provide opinions but it means to take anything that resembles a legal analysis with a super tiny grain of salt.

It's kind of how these things go. When very little either way can be proven, what helps either side is arguing on behalf of or against someone's character, and if they can paint the accused to look like a scoundrel, even if none of that is illegal, then the actual charge being pressed is more believable. That happened a lot in the Amber Heard v Depp trial. A lot of character smearing to support that idea that both of them were pretty shitty to each other, even if a lot of the stuff being argued wasn't illegal, but they did support the broader arguments that illegal levels of abuse could have unfolded. For example, which kind of person is more likely to be criminally abusive? The person who allegedly shits on your bed out of anger, or the one who doesn't?

There's no context at all, and for a real proof there needs to be a full recording, or at least proof from Snapshat themselves that such video call was done on the date and time between those two. But then also she'll need to proof that "A dude" was actually rich and not someone pretending or fake.

@@masterman1502 It's incredibly easy to fake this kind of thing. Which is why it's actually been denied as being used as evidence in some cases. For it to be used it has to be supoenad from the service, otherwise the court will not use it. Atleast in California, New York and Texas. I've seen this kind of evidence many, many times. There are even apps and websites you can use to fake this kind of shit. When it comes to these kind of cases, I don't trust ANY side unless they can provide hard evidence.

I don't know if it's true or not, I don't know much about these ppl to bother with an opinion. But I will say that I find her (the original accuser) credibility lacking when she claims that everything she says happened must be taken 100% accurately even though she was "too drunk to consent (with my fuck-buddy)". If it's true then I hope she has some hard evidence because saying "I couldn't consent because I was too drunk but I am perfectly reliable in my recounting of what happened" isn't a strong argument. That’s not how defamation works. Defaming somebody doesn’t require the person to say they’re going to ruin the others life, it’s saying or claiming anything that isn’t true about that person which causes their life to be impacted negatively either monetarily or otherwise. To win a defamation case you have to show via evidence that the other person is lying. Johnny Depp won his case by showing that amber heard was historically a liar and that in turn destroys her credibility. There was never a point where he provided what you’re claiming rich would have to.

As a Christian i want to say it’s not sex that sends you to hell sex isn’t bad it’s the idea and mockery of sex that would be considered a sin to hookup with a person you haven’t made a vow to in any way and create your own image of marriage while in your heart using the other person as a object for your desire.
