This is killer workout. I'm doing it 3 times a day full power. Can't move a finger afterwards 😂 Edit: reduced to one a day. Three isn't really sustainable in a long run. Need more rest to optimize development. Edit: after a month of training, and through some trials and errors, I concluded: - the best way is doing it every other day because forearms can get tired, and all the pressing can irritate shoulders (similarly to doing a lots of dips). Again this depends of a position of bucket. - first two exercises is best to do alternating hands (if you are having smaller bucket). - squeeze rice like you mean it at the end. Some finger flexibility is also a good thing to do to keep better mobility of the fingers. And don't forget some hand cream afterwards, your skin will be most grateful 😊 Edit: finished month two. Forearms growth is noticeable, however not by much. Around 1-1.5 cm in size. But there is an increase in upper arm strength and fingers. Hands are much more resilient to stress and hold is much stronger than before. Edit: finished month three. I injured my knuckles at work so I'm taking a week break. Will do with gripper for the time being. Edit: added supersets (double workout back to back) for the remaining 15 days on month four. Edit: tomorrow starts month five. Took a longer rest this week. Tested full crimp hold, now it is near 13 seconds. Given it was zero 4 months ago, this is a big progress. Especially since I'm pretty big guy. For the month five I plan to do the workout twice a day, every second day. Might be a bit taxing on hands and forearms, but I'll see how will work. Back to training. Edit: in a week month six begin. Last week and a half I had a setback as I broke my gripper. The training for month five included three series of pumps after rice bucket, sadly didn't manage to endure and I couldn't find the replacement. On top of that, been sick for almost a week, so I resumed with training a few days ago. Hopefully the next month will go smoother. Fingers crossed.

I started a new job and tweaked my wrist lifting fry baskets (I know, real pathetic) and have had wrist pain ever since. Been doing wrist workouts and stretches daily for months with no results. Saw your video about rice bucket training and decided to take a bucket from work and fill it with rice. Just finished my first session following this video and I have ZERO pain in my wrist. Whether or not this is due to me not being able to feel my arms at all or because it’s working muscles I haven’t worked before (or both) I don’t know but regardless I am thrilled and will be adding this to my routine. @@Kira-ek6lz I did 6 days on, 1 day off, but considering I work a glorified office job that's enough rest time for me. 2 weeks on, there's already a visible difference in a few spots around my hands, wrists, and forearms. I also pop my knuckles and elbows FAR less than ever before. I had to take time off, about 10 days to heal, bc I helped a stuck stray cat from breaking it's leg (long story). Once the claw and teeth holes heal on my hands, I'll be right back to it. But yeah, seriously, it was a visible and felt difference in all muscles and ligaments from the elbows down in just 6 days a week for 2 weeks. That's only about 1 hr and 15 mins of effort! Worth it!

My grip is stronger and whats more, an injury i had in my left hand is healing. Not huge gains in size, but ive only been going for 4 weeks, twice a week. Plus, like i said, i was injured. Im going to start increasing the volume, which is a way to progress. I recommend starting less intense, as to not injure your hands. Update 2: i noticed some muscle groeth after 5 weeks. While im a thin dude, its exciting to see progress

@HusMotivate23 on my third week. Definitely noticed some more vascularity. Need to train it hard and consistently. I have a hand injury I'm rehabbing, so i havnt been able to go super hard. Theres other youtube videos done about this type of training where people build muscle, so ill keep doing it
