Since watching this video I have made and donated 8 skirts so far.

Love the tutorial. Can you show how to add pockets, please. I'm a first-timer and a bit nervous, and I love the way you did an easy how-to video.

Thank you for this tutorial definitely going to try to make a ribbon skirt as soon as I decide on a sewing machine. Mine broke and it was going to take 8 weeks to get it repaired and they could not give me a price on the repair before hand.

The white edges are called salvage. It would have been nice to see you adding in the pockets. Do you now have a tutorial on adding pockets? You did an amazing job. Keep up the great work and Thank You for sharing.

We recommend to have your print running horizontal but it’s up to you 😁

I washed and dried my fabric before sewing. It turned out great!

How many yards of material did you start with

I used slightly less than two yards of fabric to make my skirt. I have 32 inch waist and 42 inch hips.

That edge piece is called the salvage and the colors are all the colors in the material I find it best to cut it off because it can shrink at a different rate than the rest of material giving you a wrinkly hem
