The event featured seven Cherokee artists known for their ribbon skirt designs and their work. As part of the event, there will be a presentation on the history and evolution of the Cherokee Ribbon Skirt. Beautiful! Thank you 🙏 This has been a long time coming! My mom taught me to sew as a child. She used ribbon trim and made matching long dresses for me and my baby sister and her. I used to dream of designing long dresses for a living when I was 12 and 13. I'm so excited to see this beautiful fashion show! 🙏❤️
