RFK Jr. reflects on his father's assassination

Americans are marking this week's 50th anniversary of the death of Robert F. Kennedy. The senator and presidential candidate was assassinated minutes after winning California's 1968 Democratic primary. His son, Robert Kennedy Jr., visited his father's gravesite Wednesday at Arlington National Cemetery. The younger Kennedy spoke with Michelle Miller about his father's legacy and why he thinks his father "would be disappointed" by today's political landscape.

I really don't think that's it. Professional assassins and their lackeys will always have their choice of guns, regardless of any gun laws for mere mortals. John Lennon was killed in NYC where guns are strictly prohibited to all but law enforcement. And the attempt on Reagan was in DC where I believe the same is true. Some say the USA has more than 10 times as many murders by gun as the European nations do. However, it's also true that we have roughly 10 times as many murders by knife as they do in Europe.

Don’t people with problems like drug addiction have the right to change and become productive people? You are extremely close minded to judge a person about something negative in their past. Robert Kennedy Jr suffers from spasmodic dysphonia which is dystonic disorder of no known cause. Whilst it affects very few people , it is also sad to hear it the voices of two of his sisters but not to such a pronounced degree . I believe that it has come down through the maternal line, his mother Ethel Skakel sa she was prior to marriage . For all the wealth and influence held by the family Kennedy , they do have a rather large share of life’s problems , ill health and tragedy ?
