Rewrite Your Narrative for Healing Anxiety
Welcome to another enlightening episode of the AnxietyRx podcast. In this episode, we meet Dr. Lorne Brown, a fertility specialist with a unique blend of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical hypnotherapy.
Together, we explore the intricate relationship between physical and emotional health.
We discuss how anxiety can have a bidirectional impact on our well-being and how it's often rooted in our subconscious programming.
Dr. Brown's "Notice, Accept, Choose Again" approach provides a practical framework to navigate and transcend anxiety.
Join us in this transformative conversation as we discuss the importance of embracing discomfort, understanding the role of resistance, and the power of connecting with our younger wounded self.
By addressing these aspects, we can rewire our inner narratives, foster healing, creativity, and a shift from fear to love.

This is so profound! I had a challenging day of anxiety and I’m learning so much that is helpful. I love the somatic model and therapies. I’m researching programs now that I can learn to continue helping others. I’m a recently retired chiropractor and after 30 years of practice I can say that the emotional energy release work is sorely needed. If you have any guidance on programs for DC’s please let me know!
Dr. Russ. Did your anxiety ever cause adrenal fatigue and if so how did you heal it?

I’ll be interested to hear the answer too. Perhaps an idea for a future podcast?!? Thanks Dr Russ and team for putting all these podcasts out. Always hear something that helps me in the moment.

Adrenal fatigue is a name given for a hyperactive and eventually failing cortisol and epinephrine system. IMO it’s just another name for a hyperactive sympathetic nervous system. The solution is multifactorial but the short version is to move into parasympathetic, ventral vagal connection with yourself and accept love and connection from others. I’ll consider doing an episode of the ANXIETY RX PODCAST on it. THX for the question!
🦋Thank you!
Thank you very much - so good🙏 Need to listen to it again🤗

Thanks for listening!
If you read this, I love your life’s work. I read your book while watching your KZread videos (especially the subcortical structures you constantly reference that are missed in traditional therapy). I would love to be part of your organization.

If you develop anxiety as a result of a physical symptom, is that the same thing as somatic symptom disorder?
Instead of stating accept- perhaps 🤔 asking .. can you acknowledge.. Can you acknowledge that you’re feeling this… ? Etc
