Wow… did it really start on the first pull or was that through the magic of editing? Nice job!

It actually did, surprised the heck out of me too, wasn’t expecting that.

Great video I have the same problem as yours, but when i put a new oil it wont start, i need to drain all of it and it will start. Without the oil its kinda risky, do you have suggestions about it ? thanks

It will destroy itself quick with no oil, you just need to get the oil level correct, they don’t take very much about 500ml

I'm about to get a Honda running, after 1.5 years since the flood in Lismore.

Nice one. I’ve also done a petrol wood chipper that sat full of flood water for 6 months I need to upload.

@@BoostedVW drained & flushed. blew stuff out, wire brush here and there, inox spray, new spark plug, electrical contact cleaner in the plug hood, a new pull cord housing, fresh petrol ....and it started on the second draw. Stoked!

@@Rustsamurai1 nice work. Both the mower and wood chipper I got going with nothing more than fresh oil so it was quite depressing seeing how many mowers and other machinery were thrown on flood rubbish piles during the clean up.

@@BoostedVW Indeed. There was one bloke going around in an old ute; I helped lift a few into the tray. He was intending to fix and sell. It's a bit sad they were discarded in the first place. I rescued, fixed and returned a few from my street, post flood. Until then I'd done no small motor work, ever. I've three air compressors I've yet to have a crack at.
