Boy, if only this was done on the bottom of the ocean, I could watch it for hours while sitting on the toilet!

To run it fully under water. Every plug and connection including the spark plug should be greesed up with electrical grease and u need a stronger magnet in the fly wheel for the coil to work under water.

Lawnmower engine running underwater sounds really cool for some reason. But despite spark being a problem, water can also get through the throttle plate shaft on the carb.

Good point. Iam working on making a chinese atv running underwater. These dont have a throttle plate.

@@Builditathome-Restoration yes that's a lot better... Just gotta seal the cable to the throttle cap. But don't forget that those have a choke plate! The shaft that spins that will certainly leak

I think it should’ve been fine submerged had you made plumbing for the exhaust I’m assuming water got in thru the exhaust valves
