The Hup Scene was pretty deep, mainly because we were all there at some point, even now. We all sometimes believe we are no one’s, we are not special can’t do anything right. But the lovable Deet said nothing but facts. Hup my not have been the biggest and most destructive by size. But when you show your friends your loyalty over strength. That is what makes them like you overall. Deet rules and Hup is dark crystal Legend.

@@iDMaD0 its speculated that it was cancelled due to the blowback against Netflix's disgusting film Cuties and since the Gelfling to them looked like children they played it safe and cancelled it

YES!!! My favourite episodes are 5, 6 and 7. That is when you really get into the lore (pun intended). And also, it has a lot of good scenes!

That scene where Hup cries... I cry with him most of the time... :`(

I’ve watched this episode so many times. I’m fortunate for what episodes we have. It will come back one day. In the mean time, let’s enjoy the fan made work that keeps on giving.

Bravo! I am just loving your episode by episode reviews! Absolutely, this is truly one of the best episodes in the whole series, pure genius!! Chamberlain's twisted gift of manipulation is just so scary! I totally agree regarding the dreamspace scene, epically surreal!! Seladon has to be THE most frustrating character in the whole series! She refuses to acknowledge the truth even though its right there in from of her! Sometimes I just wanted to reach out and shake her! Such excellent writing!

Aughra kicked Seladon out the Zoom call 😁. You're right about the Big Dreamfast but then I keep thinking at least once each episode "Yes, this is the most important scene in the series...". The bit about the Sanctuary Tree makes me wonder if it could heal Deet too, or if we'll ever find out! :/ Also... What happened to the Sanctuary Tree during/after the Gelfling War? 😥 Not sure if this has been covered in one of your videos.

Huh, just occurred to me, a bit of a parallel with TDC film when Chamberlain apparently defends J&K from the Garthim, but as here of course it's all part of his own schemes 😏 Nope, sorry not sorry, SkekMal's not my favorite Skeksis! 😁

Chamberlain is my favourite Skeksis too! Sometimes I don't even see him as a Skeksis, he's just his own character who is willing to do anything and betray anyone. He only wants to save himself. In his own words: "Save self!"

@@jillesjohannesbilker Yes! In my books he's one of the great characters in general, beyond TDC. When I saw the movie when it was new as a kid (yeah I'm old..) I thought I was weird for liking him, and it's been great to see how well written and multidimensional he was in the series. Kudos to the puppeteers and Simon Pegg!

@@jillesjohannesbilker yes there really interesting The first four are about the first Battle of stone in the wood The second four are about Hup before the show and it explains why he wants to be a paladin and the last 4 are about All-Maudra Mayrin I read them all as they came out monthly
