The Dark Crystal Age Of Resistance truly is a diamond in the ruff. 😞 This show is so special to me because its inspired me as an artist at a time when I really needed it . This show truly deserves so much more and hopefully the world will see it for the gem it is . 💜

I think there was a Joker Easter egg. Because Mark Hamill voiced the scientist, he bashed and murdered Robin in the Red Hood story. Pretty much the same way with the creature. Didn’t show the body, but the shadow and blood splatter. That was very Joker

That moment when SkekMal takes the Duel Glaive, the weapon that nearly killed SkekVar, and just breaks it in his hand and calls it a toy, really showed how important it was for urVa to stop him.

Yeah, I always wondered what a continuation of AoR seasons would have been like!

They have to announce something this year in the 40th anniversary 🌸 I don't expect something big, but at this point where we aren't getting any kind of content, I'll be happy with the smaller thing ;u ;

Exactly my thoughts. They have to announce something. If they pass the 40th without saying anything, i would not only feel hurt but kind of betrayed.

This show was great and always will be although I am sad that we'll never see a second season and the wonderful artistry of puppetry portrayed on screen, but we must remember not to be sad because its over but be happy it occurred, thanks again for the reviews it has been one heck of a journey.

This episode just makes me think so much about what season 2 would have been like 😢

Bravo! The Grunack deaths were among the few scenes where I actually still cover my eyes or plain skipped through, like the shoe dip scene in "who framed Roger rabbit." Once again, Mark's voicing the Joker has really come in handy. Once again, dark scenes like that definitely took me back to original fairy tales by Grimm, Anderson, Perrault , Giambattista Basile, etc. This show is among the best examples of just how deceptive appearances are! Augra's sacrifice and resurrection is just like Aslan's sacrifice and resurrection in "The lion, the witch and the wardrobe". When the big cavalry/reinforcements shows up is one of my favorite mythical motifs! Absolutely a brilliant show, world expanding at its finest and a brilliant demonstration of different archetypes, character development and the hero (and heroine's journey)! I completely agree with everything you said! Pure magic indeed!

Love this series, need an ultimate overview now... ONE MORE!!!!

Let's all take a moment to spit on Netflix as whole. For cancelling this show, promoting manchildren in the writing department, killing hype, disowning animation and all the rest. *Ptoo!*

The drama (and the humor) were great in this episode and IF there's no more of this series, it ends on a great one. However, there SHOULD be more of the episode. Archer's sacrifice / Auhgra's rebirth was the moment of the show.

That speech of Mother Aughra was really interesting. I love how everyone on this planet believes in this kind of afterlife, except there's proof.

The General made the fatal mistake of trusting another of his kind, SkekSil doesn't want to serve the Emperor, he wants to be on top. In the original film SkekSil didn't even wait for SkekSo to die before trying to grab for his scepter. For as much as I love both SkekSo and SkekVar, they deserve each other and thier fate, heck if it didn't create a massive plot hole for the original film all of the Skekies should have died. The surviving Skekies shouldn't have gotten a sparkly fairytale ending where they reunite with thier counterparts and fly away into the heavens. Basically getting away scott free with all of the horrible things they did in life. The Urskeks never try to reconcile with Thra, they genocide countless people, destroyed much of the planet's biodiversity by screwing with a Crystal that wasn't thiers. Heck maybe spending some time in the afterlife, the dead Skekies would be offered a chance to go on a path of recompense to further restore the balance of good and evil in the spirit world. That would be good world building.

Garthim's eyes in the movie are purple, but Garthim's eyes in this drama are white. Maybe he still has memories of Gruenak and Arathim. If there was a season 2, he might have betrayed Skeksis and sided with Gelfling.

We should be on season 4!!!

Nooo! It's over! How could Netlfix be so stupid? My life really just has become a circle of the same emotions in the same order while watching these 10 episodes over and over again.

I'm surprised that Dreamfast with Me hasn't talked about the Table Top Role playing Game The Dark Crystal Adventure Game. It's set after The Age of Resistance but before the movie. It's a really cool table top game.

I love this show, I hope it comes back 😥💔.
