There is no depth to the disappointment I feel that Netflix canceled this dark, artistically creative, unique series with both deep and interesting characters, truly horrifying and relevant villains and stunning visuals. I wish more people watched this show. It truly is one of a kind and spectacular.

Don't fret Lisa Henson plans on getting the rest out with whatever company will accept where netflix failed. That being said netflix cancelled it over a travesty of a film, which was later taken down and so they cancelled the series for nothing. Idiots.

Overall the Dark Crystal is a absolutely wonderful story. One thing about the whole entire story (series, original movie, and books) is how like our world, there is a natural balance and connection with all living things whether it be plants or animals. Some may say that I'm looking too deep into it but I was actually raised by this lifestyle and my parents even raised me with a Unaterian view. While I am pagan and there's a lot of connections I can make with that I still see things in a universal standpoint. But religion is not the point that I'm making with the Dark Crystal. It's how no matter what you believe in or even possibly what creature you are. We are all connected in one infinite circle with life, death, love, hate, so many other things that keep our souls intact.

The love and homage paid to the original film in this series is out of this world. The voice actress who played Aughra here did an amazing job and sounded so much like the late Billie Whitelaw. But the best thing is just how much this show fleshed out the world of Thra and the inhabitants so brilliantly. When something so amazing like Age of Resistance, the fact that it was canned after just one season after all the love and effort that went into it is just heartbreaking.
