I have had some luck in finding imported metallic watercolour paint at a small fine art supply store, and finding others shipped to Canada through amazon quite pricey. I am thinking of taking a look through etsy in hopes that there may be some artisan made available within our country. I have a suggestion so not to lose out, or inadvertently wasting any beautiful paint. Try using a dropper or mini micro sprayer for water to moisten the paint, rather than dipping the brush and the paint into your little cup of water.

Sorry to bother you. Which colouring sheets are you using please? I'm so sorry if it was mentioned, I missed it and they're not in the links. I'm really searching for something like this myself for testing paints :). Thank you. x (I'm waiting for my order from KJDesignBy Karen. I bought three of the duo tone paints, and this only makes me more excited for them to arrive.)

Kage Davies hi! If you mean the black card it’s just unbranded black card stock from Amazon. No particular weight as it’s just for swatching.

@@ClaireHoloway No I meant the colouring sheets - but I've found them now! I didn't realise the artists' editions had pull out sheets, as I can't really work in a book. Thank you for your reply though. Now I just have to decide which one to get :). x

How do you keep each colour clean in the pan, particularly when they get to low down to hold?

You just have to be conscious to wash your brushes between changing colours I guess. I’ve never really had a problem with colours mixing in the pan :)

@@ClaireHoloway do you always take them out of the pan to use them?

@@clairemoore2753 the pan is the plastic or metal casing the paints are cast in. It’s physically impossible to remove them from that. These paints have magnets attached to the bottom so can be removed from the tin.

@@ClaireHoloway I see. It looked like the paints were not enclosed on their sides. I will watch again and have a better look. Thanks for the replies.
