Personally, this is one of the sexiest cars I’ve seen and I hope to get one (mainly the 2010-13 models) in the following month.

Yeah I like this car. 5th Gens are the sexiest gen Camaro in my opinion. I don't particularly like any other gen Camaro. I always considered the Camaro a sports coupe not a muscle car so I don't exactly need a V8 however if I had a Challenger I'd want a V8.

I personally don't mind the small window class. I actually like the closed off feeling while driving. That was one of my favorite features in the car. Like he mentioned the "tank-like feeling", I love that.

For me, I prefer the V6 because of daily driving. If you're using this for a daily, the V8's gas mileage is horrible.

+Nice Guy not true, i had the 2013 v6 camaro and went to a g8 gt and insurance onlywent up $13 your paying pretty high anyway becuase they consider this as a "sportscar", gas mileage is similar V8 g8 dont waste alot of gas compared to a heavy v6 camaro. The look/interior is disapointing chevy went cheap with the v6 especially the "LS" trim. And finally you will get buyers remorse for buying a v6 camaro becuase obviously when you bought the camaro regardless what you can afford you got it becuase you wanted a fast sportscar or you could of bought a v6 genises or accord.not trying to offend anyone but a v6 is for the younger crowd or who are starting to get into muscle cars but to keep it for a long time...no

The 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT V6 with the RS package. I know you did the 2010 Camaro V6 but the interior improvements and the 2LT trim really make it a better package. Thanks. P.S. Nice overall review! I own a 2014 and the steering wheel has been modified and the dash is no longer a solid plastic slab it has leather inserts that really look nice. But it is also rated higher in HP with 323!! And it's crazy to think that the V6 has more HP than the 2010 Mustang GT and earlier models. But it could use a pinch more torque but regardless it is a great car!!

I always wanted to offer up my 2013 camaro LS for a review if you ever made it to New York. Great review. I will say the 2013 has a much better shift knob, steering wheel, different dash that has a leather looking insert, and a bit more broad power band with the LFX motor in it so you were definitely pretty spot on with some of the faults you spotted in the 2010

Yeah I see what your saying about the steering wheel, I've been looking into buying a 2010 Camaro and have test driven about 3 so far. 1 was manual and because of that didn't have paddle shifters, that wheel was designed for paddle shifters. That's why it is so uncomfortable. That's what made me start looking for an automatic, with the paddle-shifters in the automatic it feels a lot better because there is more to hold onto.

12:54 where you said that the V6 is going to put less weight over the front end, the V6 actually has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution...also with the steering wheel, you get used to it...but it can still be bothersome sometimes...

I think the 2012 (pumped up to 323hp- and leather dash is nice/better steering wheel) year may be the best of the series- As far as this review - I'm 6'1" and no issue with head-room, it's a sports car. Try and Porsche, Nissan Z, or even a Mustang? He's right the glass is small (common comment) - you kind of get used to it, but make sure your car has the rear window back-up display.

First of all, I'm old school (I'm 52) and had a 72 RS. Even back then, backing up was a lesson in caution! lol I sat in a new Camaro at an auto show and I didn't like it. The outside looks great, but again, I'm old school and like to drive with my arm out the window. My elbow shouldn't be above my head! I hope you can test a Z/28, that I would give my having my arm out the window for!

This new version is such a revolutionary design, this will be my 1st American car, my 1st muscle car, and I cant wait. Loved my Lexus run while it lasted, now theyre exclusively for girls, no man can be taken seriously driving a Lex today, not by the ladies, nor his peers. This is such a bargain, I hope the reliability holds up, the drivetrain, Im nervous about GM dependability, but Im going for it.

Instead of being on the door it's in the middle of the console. You have to get in to unlock the passenger door where all the other cars I've ever been in have a remote on the driver door.

i test drove the V6 Camaro a few years back and was disappointed - especially considering how costly the V6 Camaro's are next to the V8 mustangs. Aside from the bunker-like visibility, even though it has/claims 300+ horsepower - this review is on point in that you can't really "feel" it until very high RPMs. I think a foreign car with a 4 cylinder feels more exciting. So if you're considering a Camaro for the styling only then be warned that you will not be getting any sort of muscle car feel with this. On a side note it is the same engine as the base V6 Cadillac CTS - so it is smooth and quiet...

I've driven both a Mustang and a Camaro, both have their strengths and weaknesses. The Camaro does corners better, but I didn't like the shift knob. The Mustang hauled ass (pardon my French) and had a deeper exhaust noise. I did not feel secure when downshifting and taking a corner though.

This Camaro is not a Camaro RS, that's stupid! This is the Camaro 1LT with the RS package.

Right, that's the trim level but with the RS package it can be referred to as an RS. No babies were killed in the typing of this reply.

Hudson Mote LOL some people love this car but want a smaller engine in it. It's good there's 3 V8's to choose frome AND a V6. The V6 would be way enough for me: I'd go slowly just to sit more time in this beautiful, beautiful car....

+Guitary Life so wrong... Just be in love with the Camaro and don't try and Compensate with a bigger engine for your other short comings..... 2010 Ford Mustang gt (v8) and years below only 315 whp.... My 2015 3.6 ltr v6 Camaro 323 whp not taking shots at anybody but it's always hilarious when people try n band wagon up and think v8s are the only muscle cars... Now get ready to be angry my 2003 Nissan Sentra ser spec v.... 4 cylinder smoked a ss el Camino so you v8 guys can come off you're high horses lol v8s are heavy don't forget that

V6 is lighter, cheaper, better on fuel and still has over 300hp! You can get a fast car for less than 24k after negotiating! That is cheap speed indeed! Yeeeeehaw!!!

svt89 I'm on 255's also. Idk it's like 70 degrees here but maybe that isn't warm enough. It might also be because I went from to performance tires on my V6 to regular michelin's on the 5.0. I'm gonna have to upgrade eventually...probably to 275

That would be great, if they could properly condense the design and maybe shed a couple pounds in the process too. Then it would also be more viable for Europe... (part of their strategy, perhaps?) I look forward to hearing about it in your weekly updates when it comes out!
