Some of y’all fail to realize that a v6 pony car will gap any Subaru stock any modified Honda,600cc street bikes, damn near any 4 cyl that’s not boosted,it will also gap older v8s especially 4 liters,it will match if not gap any VQ which is actually a “respectable” motor, tbh if your hating on a v6 you either 1 own a v8 and your just a hater,or two,you don’t even own a car and your just a bandwagoner who will make fun of a v6 and not actaully do the research of why it’s a “bad/slow” car.tbh if you own a v6 you are faster than most, endless they’re in a newer v8 or supercar, and I’m talking from a stock standpoint,I don’t wanna hear about your civic with a “laptop”

@Jayson Gama lol I got an old 3v mustang had to get all the bolt ons and a bottle to keep up with the new v6’s. A lot of ppl don’t realize how the newer 6’s run. The older v6 camaros and mustangs like the 3.8l were garbage couldn’t get out their own way but the newer ones I’d say 11 and up all boasting 300hp from the factory not too mention all the bolt ons they make now. Granted you put them same bolt on’s/boost/nitrous in a v8 the v8 will win every time but the new v6 pony cars are definitely not what they used to be. I’m really thinking about either getting a newer 3.7l mustang and boosting it or maybe even an ecoboost. But everyone knows those ecoboost will run I kinda like the idea of the v6 sleeper look. Ima still have my v8’s but nothing wrong with the new v6’s for sure.

I’m 35 years of age. Let me give you younger guys watching some prospective. Modern V6 are far more powerful than V8 just 15 years ago. You are getting a powerful engine regardless of which brand you go with. If people shit talk it is only because they are negative people. I see V6s and even 4cyl beat the shit out of V8s all day long at the track and autocross. It really come down to what you do with your car.

If you going to use it as a race car I understand getting a v8 makes sense. But if it’s going to be your daily, I can’t justified getting a v8 instead of a v6 specially if you buying a v6 12+ Mustang. V6’s have the power, torque, reliability and handling that you need for having fun in the streets. Paying almost 10k extra for a v8 sounds to me like a very expensive way to add Avocado to your sandwich. 😆

The best part of this video was the intro where he talks about the incessant idiocy you'll be dealing with if you buy a v6. The "should've bought a v8" parrots are legion. Here's the thing though; fuck 'em. I've got a '14 3.7 Mustang, and I'm happy with its performance. It's my weekend cruiser during the summer months, and I enjoy the Hell out of it. Not interested in racing anyone, not out to impress anyone. *I* like the car, and that's all that matters. That should be all that matters to ANY v6 owner - whether it's Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger. Enjoy the damn car & love it for what it is. And if you're not comfortable with that, then you'd better save up for a while longer & buy the v8, because you're clearly motivated entirely by what others think.

I am extremely happy with it and think it's the best looking car in light blue that I've ever owned. It's plenty fast and I'm in my 50's now so I didn't buy it to do stupid sh#t with it. I've just got a fun daily driver that's really sexy.

So when I was looking for a car I drove all 3, I wanted a pony car just don't know which one. Ended up getting a 2013 mustang premium, I would really suggest trying to find the premium model over the base. It gets some much needed creature comforts and a nicer interior ( not a lot nicer, but still better than base). Plus as mentioned in the video, the aftermarket is AMAZING for Mustangs, it's actually nuts how many parts there are and a lot of places to get them. I've modified my Stang a decent amount now and it really car keep up with better cars. Now I'm not saying I'm winning any races, It's still a mustang, but it's by no means a garbage can on wheels. My point is, I'd recommend the mustang over the other ones.

Go way back to the 1980s....The Grand National was a first American V6 muscle car that few paid attention to until it was seen leaving Z28 Camaro s and Corvettes in the dust. Yep it is turbo charged and you see its factory. You dont have to mod it and for most people that's the trick. Now I can buy a V8 Camaro if I was rich and really only wanted to race it in the weakeds. But I got a 2012 V6 Camaro and enjoy the HP I never had in my old 1985 Z28. Its quiet inside the stereo is awesome, well I did put in and Alpine and did not like spending $350 for the instal kit to do it. Total stereo cost and I did do it myself was $900. The car cost me $9000. But still I am happy with my Camaro. It looks good rides nice and had enough get up and got.

My brother-in-laws former 95 Mustang made 262 horsepower for GT v8 and then his Subaru STI WRX made roughly 400 horsepower for a 4 cylinder twin turbo… Muscle and Sport cars have increasingly improved in these past years despite other peoples opinions. And you know what who cares what they think because in the end it doesn’t matter as long as you enjoy driving it that all it matters. And i honestly don’t think the V6 is a budget car however I do think it’s a good alternative to the V8 because the V6 has better gas mileage and makes a good Option for the normal everyday driver. Looks great, sounds decently especially when you add mods to it then it sounds awesome, and has great fuel economy and overall it’s more of a practical vehicle. Especially when you add AWD too it for the Challengers and Chargers then it’s great for the snow.

Plz don’t buy a eco boost. They’re not the route to go. That turbos gonna go out 50k in and got you so much. I’ve worked on them so much. Go with a v6 whatever it may be. Personal opinion get a Camaro, they’re definitely fast as hell but the comfort suspension is amazing and it’s better than a stang in road conditions. But the challenger has them both beat in that category but challengers are quieter and slower so it’s up to you but if u want speed and comfort get a Camaro if u don’t care as much about the speed.” Not saying challengers are slow”. Then get a challenger.

Well it's 2023 now and the real numbers are in! The top sold car is the Challenger and the least sold car is the Comaro. Chevy just can't seem to sell these things. But dodge really sold a lot of challengers. Like 3 times more than Ford and 4 times more than Chevy. It's crazy how both Ford and Chevy have far better performance than Dodge yet Dodge Challenger out sold both of them. If you ask me the Dodge Challenger just looks the best! Dodge really nailed it with the look of the challenger. Put a brand new Challenger beside a 1970 challenger and they look almost identical. You can't say the same about the others. It seems that the look matters the most when it comes to selling hot rods.

I used to own a 3800 Camaro back in the day and here's what I would suggest. DON"T BUY ONE!!!! Buy something reliable like a honda, toyota or subaru. Pay it off and maintain AND Invest towards the car you really want. Don't waste your time trying to modify a V6 Mustang, Camaro or Challenger. eventually you'll out grow it and want more power. You'll end up spending more modifying a V6 than if you bought a V8 car. Plenty of affordable V8 cars out there that won't break the bank. Just remember kids. All these V6 pony cars are well within the price range of a Corvette C5, 98-02 Z28 or T/A WS6, You can even get a Coyote cheaper than a Cyclone Mustang too. All cars that are cheaper to insure, maintain, and probably get better gas mileage. Again thats why you buy a honda, save and invest your money so you can own a daily driver and have a real car to work on for fun....

You lost me at coyote for cheaper you must mean a ragged out one or your not from USA damn sure not Florida. You gotta be one of those people that think all v6 are slow cause it don't have a v8, plus that crap about the insurance. Mustang 3.7 will hit 60 in 5.4 seconds stock. Fbo break into the 4s hit high 12s in 1/4. It will beat 90% of muscle cars up until late 90 early 2000s. Mustang has Identical stats as 2002 z28 and ws6 firebirds. Well maintained they get well over 200000 miles.
