I say if you are gonna keep calling it a Mach 1 in the spirit of if Ford had made this special Crown Vic Mach 1 then I think you should keep it naturally aspirated like Ford did with Mach 1 Mustangs. I would say use a supercharger if you made it up to be a Shelby GT500 Crown Vic.

4:25 a 3.92 hypnoidal locker wonton axle is just about the best thing their is for a 4.6 V8 that's got a 516lbft NA rev 'n dump tune up, auto locker foot down in 2 foot deep snow because it slid off the ice... just keep it down letting a 8 gallon/min pump pound the alcohol in it thru 440cc's. a T6 S475 would just knock the tires off with 9000 pound foot in first, 10psi over what shakes the tires in first round a tight bend. one ton axle swaps, bottoms up not bottomed out... sacked n' clapped tug oh war? wonton willie, bird sounds... FNF.

Next thing you do after completing the wiring is to test it by turning it on. That way you don't have to remove it if doesn't work.

HP is kinda irrelevant you can always get a good tune and bump up about 50hp with minor mods if any.

3.7 Cyclone is the king of V6 pony cars . It’s very modifiable and versatile. Now it’s not a VQ but it’s damn close.

I was engaged until you said manual swap is only $400.00. The transmission alone is 4 times that price. Even 3 years ago when this was posted. Even if you already had a transmission laying around, labor and tune would still be near 3 times that price. Clutch Flywheel, pedal, tune (which you mentioned is $500.00). There is no way.

Dude. The 99 had the Teksid block. Only 99 had it. Forged aluminum with proper webbing. 2001 was ford in house aluminum block that isn’t as strong by a long shot. Add forged internals and be super quick with less nose weight!
