I love it that Eobard kind of accepts it that Wally West will always be the fastest Flash and doesn't compete with him. He only wants to be better than Barry.

The bat family I can tolerate. Batman has help, cool. Ninja squad, got it. Then you have Barry, Wally, Impulse, Kid, Jay, and a few they string across the timeline because flash continuity is literally “throw it at the wall, if it sticks… speed force bullshit!” because that’s like 5 retcon makers plus the ones that ARE retcons like why we have 2 Wally Wests! Then there’s a big event and while the bat family I’ll give a pass on because Blue Bird, Spoiler, Orphan, and even Tim aren’t exactly combat experts up there with what Batman deals with in these huge events. But the flashes are way too useless half the time in these big events except as a way to reset the universe whenever DC wants.

Superior Spider-Man came out from January 2013 up until March 2014, meanwhile Legion Of Zoom & Finish Line came out from August 2020 up until November 2020. So Legion Of Zoom ripped off Superior Spider-Man. Nevertheless, I enjoyed both of them, since they're my fav heroes from Marvel & DC

Glad I'm not the only one who saw this as The Superior Speedster series. (Couldn't think of any good alliteration adjective to go with "flash" other than "faster" but that only means "of greater speed", which is not the same as "better in every way")

@@NeonWafflez707 That's fair, but I don't think eobart wants to become Barry Allen, he only wants to become the The Mantle of The Flash as well as retain all the connotations and reputation that comes with it. I think he cares very little about the person behind the mask. To that end, he sees barry as an accessory to the mask rather than the other way around. So basically, I don't think that title would be accurate considering the objective and intention of this would-be arc.

Thawn is a paradox. He exists outside of time yet at all times. It doesn’t matter if he dies because there’s always a version of him somewhere in the time-stream

Joker war?

There are parts to the story I like and don't like. But what I'm most disappointed about is the missed opportunity to bring back some of the evil Flashes. We could have seen the return of Inertia, Zoom, and the Reverse Flash III, as well as some other evil speedsters such as Salvitar, Fast Track, and Lady Flash. The Tornado Twins would fit in perfectly for a concept like this. When Eubard spoke of bring a "Reverse Flash family" that is what I was kinda expecting. But instead we get a return from villains, most of which aren't speedsters. Such a missed opportunity, and the current story their telling is a bit meh as is. Let me know what you think of this statement. Do you agree? Or are you content with what is currently coming out?
