If the show ended like this, That would be the most satisfying show ending ever. No one has to die, doesn't cancel, and isn't a typical final battle. This really placed Barry's character as fully matured. In Season 2 of the show, Barry wanted to kill Zoom for killing his father. Imagine In the final season, he just forgives Reverse Flash when he's done way worse. That's a real redemption story. Besides Arrow

Barry technically forgave eobard in season two while looking at harry, but i guess he went backto hating him in season 3

Seeing all those speedsters show up was the most jaw dropping part of the run. The literally had everyone all the way from irey and jai to walter west. It was so much fun seeing them all interact and just makes me want a flash family book even more. Here's to hoping that we get one.

Jay Garrick looks awesome in this. I need to finish this run. Let's just hope we see more of Jay in a ongoing JSA title hopefully. Also it makes me so happy to see Max Mercury again.

@@K-11609 Go back to the first 2 seasons, because you're wrong. Barry constantly repeats how there is no Flash without Iris, Cisco, Caitlin across those seasons, it's just never said overtly by another character and as blatantly as it was in Season 4. "We are the Flash" is just a summation of that message from his literal wife. The uproar in response to it has been juvenile at best- it's literally just another way to say "we're in this together", and if you want to be overly pedantic you can just imagine that it means "We are Team Flash" because that's basically the same fucking thing.

One thing about any Flash: They are always a second late to the party.

i am so happy that the flash family has finally returned but damn it i really wished Wally west flash was part of this whole reunion battle against all of these villain's and with his kids iris west II and Jai west.

Also this was like the Ultimate "IT WAS MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" from Thawne. With Williamson basically using it to go "okay this is why Bart, Barry and Wally were acting out of character at these moments, also fuck Heroes in Crisis, none of that nonsense was Wally's fault, Eobard made Wally do all that to both torture the Flashes and get Wally out of way so he could pull this scheme off now that's never talk about it again" which.. is really what Heroe's in Crisis deserves. But yeah this was a really great ending, Grats to Williamson to being the ONLY rebirth writer to make it those 100 issues I believe they were all planned to get originally. Giving Barry Allen some great character development and one of his best moments in his forgiving of Thawne, and frankly finding literally the ONLY WAY to give Eobard a happy ending too. Proving again, stories don't have to be uber dark, and endings don't always have to be bittersweet. Sometimes what you really need is a happy ending where everyone lives. Especially with a hero like the Flash who in all his various incarnations be it Jay, Barry or Wally is meant to much like Superman be something of a symbol of hope who does good because it's simply the right thing to do and kind of the heart of the heroes of the DCU. Anyway we all know Thawne will eventually get his memories back, he's too iconic and popular a villain to be gone for good but I hope this ending is respected for at least a good amount of years. As fun as he is The character could use a break and this was pretty much a perfect ending for him.

I wouldn't mind the CW series ending like this. Reverse Flash finally defeated, Barry forgives him, and all the flashes, Jesse, Jay, Nora, are all alive again.

This would be amazing if the flash actually ended like this, it’ll always be a loop because someone’s gonna bring everything back

One of the best runs on the flash

This was handled pretty well. You can see how many things were added because of the WB show, which has worsen heavily with time, but I liked this story. Good finale, good narration Benny.

I'm sad that New 52 Bar Torr did not appear in the finale and he is not Inertia. That would be the ultimate twist and would make sense. Bar torr though he unlock a meta gene of super speed but reality he subconsciously re awakens his speed force and urges to be a criminal.

With the amount of comics that comic story and variant comics have in the future it's going to be worth billions

This is such a good dropping point. I will be dropping a lot of super-hero comics once the Future State event is over. I will only be reading my absolute favourites after that. Maybe I will come back to The Flash if they put Wally in charge, like they hinted at in Death Metal - Speed Metal.

Tbh, I don’t care for Wally as the Flash, Wally should be his own character, everyone debates Barry and Wally, I hate it, Barry’s the true Flash, he makes everything possible, and that’s what I believe two separate characters, two separate aliases
