Once again Time travel doesn't make sense... Let's see in the future The Flash is a legend so Zoom decides to obtain Flash's powers and take over the world, but because he's not the Flash he decided to go back in time and ruin the Flash by killing his mother. But the only reason why the Flash exists at all is because Zoom killed his mother (See Flash Point), so by killing The Flash's mother he actually created The Flash where in the future the Flash is a legend. But he hates the Flash so he goes back in time to ruin the Flash by creating him, but if he never went back in time in the first place the Flash may not exist and thus not become a legend so zoom can't obtain his powers because the powers don't exist because he can't go back in time and... *OW MY HEAD HURTS*

This is probably my favorite New 52 Flash storyline. It's not as good as Rebirth or Flashpoint, but it's definitely close in my opinion. Most of you probably don't agree. The reason I like this story so much is simply that my favorite comic book villain, Professor Zoom, is reintroduced into continuity

I absolutely love that Professor Zoom is back but idk when compared to the Zoom in the previous continuity this one seems lacking. Also when you consider his role in Flashpoint I think it was a missed opportunity not connecting the two stories. I know why they'd never do that but I can dream can't I?

Great companion/reference piece to the TV show.

I am so happy that the real Eobard Thawne is back again now. this version just didn't feel as menacing or dangerous. and kinda felt like a whiny bitch :P also glad they didn't keep that design for the flash suit :D

I prefer Thawne's original origin but this is still decent. Only problem is, it's likely to confuse the TV show fans who already have a hard time with the names. That's what happens when you change character names, should have just called him Professor Zoom.

His motivation was weaker compared to pre52. People said he inspired the tv show version, but that was the Rebirth retcon from back in pre52. His new motivation was to kill the Flash to destroy his legacy was worse compared to old Thawne, who was a dark reflection of Barry and Wally (read Return of Barry Allen).
