I didn't know this was played on a 8-string. One of the best songs on the album.

The first 5 seconds is what differentiates Polyphia from other bands. They easily could've looped the first 5 seconds of the riff the entire song but it progresses so hard into something out of your expectations. Keeps you engaged. Love it
Out of every song on the album I thought this one had the strongest Polyphia sound to it. Absolute banger. Love it.

My brain hurts watching this. He doesn't even look like he's playing - he looks like someone who's only seen the guitar played in cartoons and is mimicking what he saw. Meanwhile in actuality he's shredding this crazy funky stuff...

What is the tuning? Where do you find such a beast? Excellent work. You are truly one of the best guitarists in the 21st century. Nice to see a new generation of musicians show their skill in the 21st century. You are the new Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven of our time. Keep exploring and always reach for new boundaries.
Tim, I've been waiting to see this played off your hands, thanks for the treat, heck yeah.
As I watch this video in absolute dismay, the endless hours of shredding the woodwork just fall's apart in not even a minute. The Dexterity & precision, and not forgetting the groove just makes you shed tears rather than making your guitar DJENTY weep. 😂

Definitely my favorite artist/guitarist. Huge inspiration. I'd like to know where they started learning wise. Like a video on who gave them lessons growing up??? I definitely sense some classical style in his technique! That's my favorite at the moment
thank you!!!!!! 待ってました!!!
This was so good it’s one of my FAV songs lol
I can agree with almost all these posts. He’s extremely talented - as are all the guys in Polyphia. BUT, no one has EVERYTHING, and my only criticism is that they do lack melody. Melody is what makes you “feel”. They tend to go over the top with classy, beautiful playing, but majority of their music lacks melody. I think that almost all their audience would be muso’s - primarily guitarists who can appreciate what they do. I’m a big fan, but I believe if they focused on melody more (as they are popular due to their talent and technical skills - not so much making songs that “move” people), then they would be even bigger as it’ll open up a bigger audience. Songs like Crush for example - the chorus in that makes you feel something. People will get tired of all the “trickery” in the end. Absolutely brilliant and mesmerising guitarists though. Well done.
