I would pre-twist the stranded to solid. The fan will vibrate and those wire connections could come loose.

I love this video Tony. I got RVL110, which I need install to replace a regular light fixture, since this house came without exhaust fan in the bathroom. Will let you know how difficult it is. I wonder if I can not make any exhaust connection and just blow air to the attic space?

You could blow the air wherever you want to. Is it a good idea? No... that's why people vent to the outside. Skip the important step if you want to have mold / moisture issues in your attic.

I noticed you used a tabs for three sides of the opening ceiling but I didn't see you screw it anywhere to secure it the joist ?

Hi there, the holding and locking tabs on the other three side make for an extremely secure fit. So, there is no need to screw the other side into the joist.

I love my new Revent fan, but the curvy cover is very bothersome, how do I insulate around it to prevent air and sound leak?

Take it back to Home Depot or where ever you bought it, then get a new one.

The 90 degree solid duct elbow is no good, but the flexible ducting you attach the adapter to is just fine? That stuff gets crinkled up into all kinds of weird shapes and is going to cause the same air flow problems that too many solid elbows can cause. In fact, it will likely be worse due to the turbulence caused by the ribbed/non-smooth interior. Solid ducting is recommended for all exhaust fans: bathrooms, kitchen range hoods and dryers. You should never be using flexible ducting if you can help it.
