My parents had a beautiful bulldog called George , absolutely in charge of the house , if my parents had visitors George would bark and then turn his back on them . When he slept his snoring was so heavy it would vibrate throughout the house . He would only eat if my mother hand fed him , if she didn't he would just stare at her . They lost George 6 years back , he died in his sleep , no pain . Its astonishing how much of an impact bulldogs have on the owners .

We’ve had 3 and lost all 3 and I still tear up when I think of them. They brought so much joy and laughter to our lives and certainly, entertainment with their idiosyncrasies. They were all such rascals! They were also the most loving dogs we ever owned! Our current dog is a rescue. We had him DNA tested and it turns out he had a bulldog grandparent on each side of his family tree. That’s probably why we chose him from the 20+ dogs available for adoption! We see “bulldog” behavior in him on a daily basis!

@@cheryld3558 since George died , my parents had a female bulldog called Connie , she was food crazy , such a funny and loving bulldog . She passed 3 yrs back with complications . Now they have a french bulldog , absolutely nuts !!! Lol .

"They're just socks Rueben. Everybody wears them." He says as he walks barefoot through the house. My puppy hates her boots as well. With the heat on the Gulf Coast though it is safer for her tootsies to be covered . Eventually they do get used to them. He did really well with them.

Nice idea. My pug has arthritis in his hind legs. We use wuffes joint supplements. Our 14 year old pugs is now climbing his doggy steps with less pain and more confidence! Sending you all virtual hugs from New Jersey!

That was so funny. I have had bulldogs since 2003, and I can't live without one. No other dog will do. You know your bulldog and they are very clever and sweet.
