Reuben is a brave pioneer! He is navigating the turbulent waters of change with great aplomb. He is a true hero of bulldog and dog kind. This situation should go down in history as one of the great transitions in American history. Thank you, Reuben, for your bravery and stoicism!

I don't know how you guys don't hug, pet, rub & scratch Mr. Man every time you see him, he's so cute. He's an absolutely beautiful, well behaved, clean bulldog - a credit to his breed for sure. 🐾❤️

Mr Reuben sure looks real handsome against the color of that new flooring. Carol really did pick a great color for Reuben's floor. Flooring looks great. Holly can relate Rueben. We changed our floor and Holly wasn’t a fan at first. She’s getting use to it. We had to put a few rugs for her so she doesn’t slip. 🐾💕❤️

The floor looks awesome. Roo was such a good boy, slept through a lot of noise. Now, I can't wait for him to do a zoomie, he'll be slippin and a sliden, and yes he will blame u. ❤❤❤❤

Poor Mike and Roo were quite the Anne Frank during those few days, hiding upstairs from the noise, banging and dust. Reuben did so damn well that we congratulate him. 👍 On a side note, I am still trying to get my head around just how big your home is, especially with furniture removed. In UK you could fit most people's whole house in your lounge alone! (Think the Dursleys' at Number 4, Privet Drive, and how small that is!) At least Roo didn't have to sit it out under the stairs like poor Harry Potter! 😂 X

"Do you still remember how to feed me?" lol. I'll be glad to see those rugs down, before Roo slips and hurts his hips. When we got our wood floors that's exactly what happened the day before we put the rugs down , our cocker was never the same.

Change is hard Roo 😞, but you came through like a real trooper. Ah, bittersweet moments in life; your beloved carpeting is gone 💔, but the work is over. You also experienced the comfort of sleeping on the upstairs couch. Mike, you looked every bit the proud Dad with your boy sleeping 😴💤 peacefully on the couch. Oh my God these expressions!!!, he's adorable and doesn't look so grumpy to me, he has his mommy, his daddy, the couch, the blanket and his treats!!!! The noise doesn't stop him from snoring (what a wonderful photo with his little tongue out!! )And it's wonderful with the parquet floor, of course he slips a bit but it will strengthen his paws and it's much fresher and easier to clean. The thing I do with my anxious cat Buddy is that at the vets I grab her off the examining table and let her whimper into my shoulder until she's cried out. Then I give pet her a few times and put her back on the examining table. This helps her calm down until the vet walks in. I like the part where you bribe Reuben with treats Mike. I'll have to try that the next time I take Buddy to the vets. LOL I'm going to buy my all my nephews calendars now. Love you guys, from the northeast US at the Jersey shore!
