In this video, for instance, the type of turtle has no impact on the story. And if you say that you have been swimming with a turtle nobody will imagine it is a land dwelling one. At any rate, there are more than 2 varieties of turtles, so it is a "moo" point. 😊 NB : when I say "This is a language thing", I mean that only English speakers have these recurring arguments about "it's a tortoise/no it's a turtle/no everything is a turtle/etc ..". Nobody else cares. People from other countries will simply say that they have a pet turtle and everyone will ignore them apart from a few nice people (or naturally curious people 😁) who will show interest and ask for further details at which point the owner won't say "it is a tortoise", but rather they will give the species' name and characteristics, one of which being whether it leaves in, around or out of water, and whether that water is sweet, salty or brackish.

Poor poor cat! she is thinking: “can’t you have a small, slow turtle w/out skates so I can get some rest? A nap? A few minutes of quiet, leisurely thought? Tomorrow.. the diabolical plan goes into effect ..where’s the dog? I need the dog for this one! We will HIDE the skates! And while I may not hear her coming, at the very least I won’t get a surprise in between my legs and tail ever few minutes from that vile creature throughout the day !!

​@huguettedelaroche3516 it's an expression. It doesn't mean stinky. Basically, they meant "really cute." I understand why they say English is the hardest language. We complicate it more than it already is with the way we throw words in to put emphasis on what we mean. Example, I almost said in the above statement "we complicate the shit out of things." I quickly realized how that may not translate well and worded it in a more popper manner. Hope my explanation helps.❤
