I love hearing Carol laugh in the background. It always makes me laugh too.

When Mike sat in the "new" chair, I thought it was going to tip backwards! Reuben seems very happy with it. You could tell by his snoring! His bum wiggle was adorable!

Oh man, this was huge! I was worried you wouldn't be able to find a suitable replacement for Roo's beloved gray recliner, but then you brought down the almost identical green recliner, and it looks good in the living room with the beige rug, too! Whew, crisis averted! Though I agree, it looks like Mike is in danger of doing a backflip out of the chair when completely reclined. Oh well, anything for our man, Roo! Mike and Carol are such great pawrents!

Hi Mike. I have to say I feel the same about Reuben. I have been through a very deep personal loss two years ago and Roo kept me comforted through long winter evenings when I was grieving. He kept me going. I love your comment...from one Roo fan to another.

I was laughing all the way through, but Roo snoring, and the facial twitches sent me to another level. Sad to see the chair go, but.....all things come to an end at some point, like the cow bed. The new bed looks great. 💙🐶

Dear Reuben: our springer spaniel just got a brand new recliner and it is heavenly. Please tell the parents that they may want to look at a Flexsteel recliner…pure comfort that is worthy of a sleeping pup & his dad! ❤️

Proof positive that Roo loves the new chair. His tail was in major wagging motion. He also accepted his new bed. What a good boy approving his new relaxation area. Good resting Roo. Mike great choice as to what would make his highness happy!!!

In one hour and 27 minutes Roob got a new old recliner and a new bed…..heavy is the head that wears the crown!!!♥️

This was a rollercoaster of emotion, Roo. Sadness when I saw how broken the chair was, relief when Mike hauled out the new old recliner, joy that the sight of your little tail vibrating when you received your new bed!

How did you guys fare through the hurricane?? I hope Rueben had plenty of water and treats!!

Roo, so sorry for your loss. It’s so nice that Mom & Dad support you during your time of grieving. A replacement chair & a very nice orthopedic bed can never replace your beloved recliner, but they will definitely be a great distraction from the pain you feel. 🐾❤️🐾

He does get attached to things doesn't he? You know, I have lost a few chairs in my life and it ain't easy.

Sweet lil Reuben was grieving the loss of his beloved chair that he shared with his Daddy. I'm so glad you had a backup chair to fill the void in poor lil Reubens heart & even backed that up with another distraction of yet ANOTHER new dog bed, an orthopedic one this time. Good thing it's orthopedic as poor lil Reuben is getting up there in age. It's good to try to make him as comfy as possible. I mean really... he is a world famous star. 🐾💖🐾

Reuben, you crack me up all the time, but when you were on your Dad’s lap, you could tell that you were having one heck of a dream. So tell us, was it those pesky rabbits you were dreaming about? Or could it have been that little female dog that you’ve had your eye on? Whichever one it was, you looked adorably funny doing it. Love you Roo!

🤣Presenting the new Reuben bed in front of the two Reuben beds that flank the front door! Perfect demonstration of how much Reuben is loved and pampered. Mike of coarse Reuben is okay with the new old chair, because the most important feature remains the same, your lap sir! Also going to have to call foul on the demise of the chair Melnottes! We were promised a raging fire of hellfire proportions, not a dumpster dump. What the city would not give you a permit? The neighbor hood watch said 'Nope'? Your friends at the Marine Corp. would not lend you a flame thrower? Or maybe take it out to a live fire range where a napalm or artillery strike could put it out of it's misery? Rest in peace noble chair, you served Reuben well, and you deserved a Viking's funeral! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤣

Reuben showed great stoicism at the loss of his favourite chair. My heart went in my mouth Mike when you leaned backwards In your new/old chair, I felt for sure you was going over backwards. The new bed looks good. I hope Mr Man uses it. ❤
