you have to use your heel and and slam the back button on front of the shoe to open and close the skate!! sadly mine physically wore out very fast... the glue gave up...

P.S. just saw Ricky do the heel click to engage wheels. He's on the right track as always ✅🔥

you got to push each foot up to 90° from each other which puts them 45 degrees from normal so your foot positions that it looks like a v shape. it goes for blades to.

Although i agree with your point because i love some support from my skates, but have you ever seen derby skates ? Not all roller skates need ankle support, just depends on what you do with the skates, and these skates are definitely not made for stunting.

Roller skates have two in the middle, those have 4 with 2 on each side, which is so much better at balance

I had a pair of those when I was 8. I was begging for a pair of heeleys and my aunt got me these instead. Lol they were a different brand than these but still the same except the release button was on the side of the shoes and it had a removable panel to place over the wheels like heeleys

I got these and they are definitely sketchy. Super hard. I can roller blade pretty decently and they definitely are difficult. 😅

I had the opposite problem as a kid lol. Though I eventually learned inline skates, these types were easier because they were more stable (though I mean a real pair, not these shoes).

Yo lol to ride skates or blades you gotta go diagonal... push off back foot at angle toward your front foot rinse n repeat lol it's easy to get momentum on those

Glo, the trick is balancing on one foot at a time until you get used to it. Blades are easier, skates hold your ankles straight.

I had these type shoes when I was in middle school. Man that was the dark ages. Mine had these buttons at the inner side of the heel where you can tab both shoes together to activate the wheels. these are cringe af back in the days.

I was going to getvthose but I decided not to because of the wheel size. I've heard that big wheels are for outdoor and tiny wheels for indoor, and I am more of an outdoor person.

The reason these skates are difficult to use is because they are missing the rubber piece that the original skates had on the toes. The rubber piece was to push off with. Look up original roller skates to see what I'm talking about.

that rubber piece is not to push off on, it's the brakes. I literally used to remove the brakes on my skates cause they got in the way. You don't push off with the brakes, you just push out slightly to the side to gain forward momentum.

many people remove the toestops from their skates anyway. very few people push with the toestops. these are difficult compared to regular skates because the wheelbase is very small. this makes balancing tougher. additionally the wheels themselves are very small which means they wont go over bumps
