  i started skateboarding when i was 9 years old, learned how to ollie and nollie lol, then tried learn how to kickflip.. after many months i couldn't do it, been so frustrated that i gave up.. even after getting back into skateboarding in highschool, i still couldn't do it... now in my 20s i'm gonna attempt to do it again and practice as much as i can to get it down...

  Hey, just started skateboarding yesterday. We happened to have some type of longboard in our garage (in nice condition). It has a curve in the back, but is flat in the front. I was wondering if getting a standard skateboard would be better for when I eventually start learning tricks? Also, your videos are so helpful since I'm just learning how to turn and push.

  I think what you have is called a cruiser. I never had one and haven't skateboarded in 10 years but I would recommend getting a skateboard because the curve up on the tail is important for popping

  You guys ever just have a mental session? Been skating for 20 years my progression was slow. But if you see my stuff I post now im overly comfortable and I cant seem to push past this level.   The name says it all "street carver" not meant for tricks at all. Thanks for showing it's limitations if I would of seen it on the street the first I would wonder is "how would it handle in a skate park". Thanks for the video.
