Nice tidy garage 👍. These videos have more impact coming from an organized operator. Spotted the manual on the bench, that’s professionalism.

I am going to be packing a spare bolt with me in case I need it. I"m hearing that if you change the primary clutch bolt, you need an install bolt. This is all just compiled from what I have gathered from other people, but they say you torque the install bolt to 130 then take it out and put the normal clutch bolt in and torque to 110. Only problem is I do not see where to get this install bolt. Anyone know where you get the install bolt? Iv'e called a couple dealerships an they don't know anything about it.

Yea thanks. I didn't see him use an install bolt to put it back on. There was a person in the comments that mentioned and "assembly bolt" for putting it back on.@@JasonCaville

@SeanChuma I have seen a couple aftermarket Titanium clutch bolts now where it says in the install instructions to install the clutch with the stock bolt to 125-140 ft lbs depending on 9R or Boost, and then install the titanium bolt with loctite and at a lower torque spec.

Would you not Be concerned about breaking the loctite on the quick drive bolts?

My bolts didn’t move so I shouldn’t need to reapply loctite. If they were loose I would back them out, clean up the threads and reapply blue loctite, then retorque. On the timbersleds with the QD, Polaris recommends red loctite.

How come they told you 100ft/lbs when the manual says 110?

Must have made a mistake. I saw that in the manual too when I was changing my clutch weights.

This is the worse design on this because it doesn’t matter if you tighten it if you don’t let the locktight set up it won’t set tight and will wiggle loose or if you have to field change it then it does the same thing because the locktite can’t set in the cold…..

I would also send your Torque Wrench in to be Calibrated. Or send some money and Buy A Digital Torque Wrench.

Ya I was told 100 ft-lbs but checked the manual and it’s 110. I only had it move the first time I retorqued it. Hasn’t budged since. Thanks for the comment 👍

So I understand Polaris's clutch fix is to re-torque the clutch bolt after so many hours AND replace the bolt after so many hours. If the bolt breaks in the crankshaft while in use, you need to get it back to your dealer. ***If under warranty, probably replace your motor. If out of warranty, its on YOU to pay, new motor or crankshaft replacement. YIKES. WTF...JUST RUN FROM THIS COMPANY..
