Monster Wake - yes sir indeed! I did struggle to tune that one! Had to buy me a set of top hats. But once tuned, it shoots like a dream :-) difficult to shoot though, due to low brace hight, unforgivable bow

Do you use cam hats to correct paper tears, or do you adjust rest also? Thanks for the very helpfull video!

Good video, thanks for all the tips. One thing though, that high pitched sound that kept going on during the video, man thats hard on the ears, and makes the video difficult to listen too.

Hey Jeremy, how do I know where to put my peep on the string? Is there some sort of rule or guide to where the peep should be on the string so that it would not be too low or too high?
@luissandoval40933 жыл бұрын
good stuff Jer, thanks So for timing purposes, you add a twist to the string(?) at the end that hits first right? I read a comment below where you said that you add a twist but to the cable of that same cam. At this point I am confused. Is it to the string or to the cable? thanks

Just had cables and string put on my Halon. Timing marks are good but ATA is 1/4 long and I have cables in my sight picture. What can be done too resolve this issue?

When you say add a twist to the top cam you meen take the cable off the bottom and give it a twist or twist the cable that connects to top cam ?

Which ever stop touches first you add a twist to the cable on that cam. So his top cam stop hit first, so he took control cable off top cam and added a twist.

I just had my local archery shop put custom strings on my Mathews Halon 6 and the cables are about 1/4" or basically no where near running through the timing holes on the cams.. and the bows axle to axle is sitting at a little less than 29 ³/⁴" which factory spec is 30".. is this acceptable? Or did this archery shop mess up?

Your timing should be correct. After a new set of strings are put on. And your axle to axle should be 30inches. You need to twist the control cable.

Is there a reason you're not taking an axle to axle measurement?

You did everything so fast without taking your time and showing everyone exactly what you did. Wish you would of been slower. Most people don't know how to do the stuff and with your video I still don't. Next!
