Exact issue I had two weeks ago with my first time ever changing my own strings / cables , Phase 4 33 . Called Gas , Aaron got on the phone and set me right ... All measurements and poundage back to spec, cam timing perfect . Best customer service you could ask for . Since then have also changed strings and cables on my Phase 4 29 and my Triax , no issues , Aarons direction made it easy ....

I would love for you to post some pics of what the twist in the cables normally should look like on both ends.

Awesome video! I've had three sets of "Match" strings on my 29.5" Lift and the poundage drops several pounds after several hundred shots. I just ordered Y'all's strings for it yesterday!

I assume you would do the same procedure with the yoke cables, as far as putting rolls into the loops? Is there a similar affect to draw weight with the yokes being rolled up vs having unrolled from install/shipping? Ive heard of micro adjusting timing on mathews with yoke loops. Your insight is appreciated.

If this is put into the loop that connects to the yoke splitter…. It seems like the tension of the cow hitch is all it’s got to hold it….. wouldn’t that work it’s way out over time?

Actually, the tension that is on the cable is all that’s needed to hold the rolls in place.

Just tried this and completely jacked my bow up . I got like 1 pound difference and severely put it out of time . Lame

If your open ends are already rolled and if done correctly and the same on both ends, it shouldn’t mess up any timing. You may still have to make small adjustments to the loop end of the cable to fine tune the timing. Also, not all string manufacturers build their cables to be rolled up in this area. For those that do, this is the most effective way to make major changes.
