I know your dachshund sleeps well at night because he works so very hard in the garden all day and is doing such a good job. He's what we call "a good boy"! And the chickens too.....

There’s no job that Tracy ever shies away from. Her stamina seems never ending and inspires me to tackle more strenuous projects of my own.❤

The staircase looks absolutely amazing, Terry! I agree, the aged walls will look better behind the plants. Ash, the edging for the borders is a work of art and soooo difficult to do!! And Tracy, last but not least, the work you're doing is wonderful. You are a very hard worker. I think that your family follows you in their work ethic. Well done each and every one of you!

Oh my gosh - that opening morning mist shot was incredible! You really are the hardest working and productive family in the French Chateau restoration world! I think Tracy sets the standard! The newly cleaned staircase is amazing! The walled garden is really coming into fruition. Well done, team!

Subscribing, liking, and commenting are all rewarded by the algorithm. When new people subscribe the ad revenue for the site operators increases, thus we all contribute a little financially to the restoration of the chateau.

You need to buy a heavy duty trolley with 4 fat wheels (if you don't already have one) for Tracy to use around the garden to load and transport those blocks.

Feel so much better seeing the Girls and Patrick watching over the work. 😂 She's looking so much better, great job mates.

The staircase looks wonderful Terry! The same goes for Ash, your edges are perfection. But I take my hat off to Tracy…woman!!! You are simply amazing, tireless, patient, and skilled in everything you do. All my respect to you.

Miss Tracey must have a back of someone half her age, she’s such a hard worker(you’d say she “gets stuck in”) This project is like eating an elephant. You all working hard to tackle one thing at a time will so worth it once it’s all done. Guests will be filling the rooms & roaming the gardens just as they did when the château was in her hay day.

It is such a pleasure to watch you. In all the years I've been subscribed, no anger, no drama, just love and work. It is soo good. Thank you for that. I'm sure there are times you need to go take a walk alone to cool off, but it never shines through. Thank you for that. ❤❤❤❤

I just LOVE this family and their chateau. You pour so much love into this Grand Ol’ Lady and it shows. The staircase turned out beautiful. The buildings are such good quality and clean up so well. Can’t wait to see the garden go in. As a passionate gardener, the outdoor videos are my favorite thing to watch. You are not only the hardest working family on KZread, you also have the best vibe. I just love you all for your love to the Chateau. You work endlessly to get the best results. That takes grit and hard work and even if you are exhausted, You end each episode with a smile. We are in the 200 hundreds episodes and we will binge until we are caught up. ❤

With the shot of the chateau from the back, you can really see how it is coming back to life. Great job to all of you for the hard work you put into revitalizing this old relic.

I don’t think the Grande Damme likes to be called “an old relic” Good Grief! She’s been a very grand lady in her day.

I'm not surprised at how hard they work. North of England people usually are very hard working. I was born in Yorkshire and was raised to be proud to be working class. If you want anything badly enough, you have to work for it.

I've started from the beginning and am watching the vlogs from the oldest to the newest. I had just watched the vlog where the garden wall fell just as you were getting ready for the septic system and I had to jump ahead and watch this one. I can see lots of progress on the chateau and on the grounds! I can't wait to see the in-between progress. 🥰

Looks really good. I can’t believe mum, Tracy is doing the tilling. I can just imagine a rose garden

Every time I see Tracy lifting, carrying and walking with those heavy stones, I literally wince and my back cringes too. How on earth do you do it woman? I can’t applaud you enough for all you do. 👏👏👏 Patrick and Ash are a perfect team, digging and measuring to get those tiny walls put up (after all, they are Patrick size) 💕🥰💕 And as for your stairs Terry, well done! The steps do look amazing. I am surprised they weren't in worse condition. I can't believe Tracy can handle that tiller. It is a wicked job. The garden is really shaping up. You all amaze me with the amount of energy you have.

The garden is coming along, it’s a big job, but it will be so rewarding when it’s done (of course the garden is never done as it’s always evolving). you’ve done a great job on those steps and I love that you’re going to leave the walls the way they are and have some trailing plants on them. That sinuous staircase really adds an elegant aspect to the view of the chateau. Seeing the walled garden happening before our eyes, with your hard labor, is so exciting and deeply moving. Love seeing the aerial shots of the progress. Also great seeing the progress being made on the facade and windows on this side of the chateau. You never cease to amaze with the amount of work you get done!

I am SO impressed with what you are doing in the walled garden. It would have been easier to just plant an orchard or lawn but you are designing a beautiful complement to your chateau. A real nod to its history while being true to your stamp on life at this place you call home. Absolutely wonderful to put the tremendous work into this area that is the soul of the entire area.

Omg Terry, so so happy to see the walled garden staircase being done! As a fairly new viewer to your channel, I have been binge watching all your vlogs from the very beginning and today, I saw the episode where you lost one of the walls. My heart cried out to you all and I was worried about the integrety of all the other walls and staircase. Hope the other walls are not in jeporady as well 😢 As for the ivy, I have been watching many of the Chateau DIY channels and what I have learned is that there are different varieties of ivy, some that should never touch stone work or buildings as it can be very detrimental to the longevity of the stone. However there are varities that are user friendly as well. Might be something ya might want to check out if ya haven't already. Your Mom Tracey, is just amazing and very inspirational. Love her! ❤

I'm so happy you've cleaned and patched up the stairs next to the little fountain! You're so right, Terry. It's one of my favorite pieces of the chateau for whatever reason. Ash and Tracy have done an amazing job on the garden! When I first saw what this year's plans for the garden, I thought it was too much for the season, but after today's (or these few days) efforts, it's so completely do-able. Kudos to you all for your dedication and determination!

It's just AMAZING how well the curved staircase has come up with your cleaning and repair work. WOW!!!!

That part of the garden would look wonderful with a central gazebo and flat pear trees on both sides of wall with a walk pergola along, where you could sit and admire the beautiful and lush flower beds less formal than the top garden and look at the beautiful views.I already can see it on my mind to the last detail, with lots of roses. A dream garden 😊

Those steps came up beautifully. You have the knack now! interest very quickly Yes you're quite right not to do the walls. Some lovely trailing plants will soften them and return them the olde worlde look. The gardens are really taking shape now. Well done all.

The staircase is fantastic alongside the beautiful, old walls. It will all come into its own when the new parterres are laid and plants soften the whole aspect creating new shadows and movement :)
