This Project has it all. Monsters, Strippers and a happy end. Well Done, Keith! 👍
My Mum always used to say, "If you want to live and thrive, let a Spider run alive". Oh great job by the way.
Great job Kieth , looks good, a little tip is some times you can swell a scratch up after you remove the finish by going over the scratch with a thin Cotton cloth and a ordinary clothes iron just put a few drops of water in the scratch or dent, wet the cloth and spread it over the area of the scratch and lightly go over it with the clothes iron set in a higher setting just don’t leave it on one area to long or you could lift the veneer, it great to see how lots of times this will swell the dent and minimize the amount of sanding you need to do. I’m really enjoying your videos it’s fun to learn how things are done in the UK as opposed to Canada. I’m semi retired now but for 35 years I had a small furniture repair Co. And did repairs for stores and moving companies, it was great fun and I met lots of interesting people . Take care,
That veneer looks sooooo good!!! wow! Really good job, your client must be really happy with the cabinet. The way the hinges work on the top are also really cool. I love projects like this
You've got the touch. And I got another restored wood beauty thrill in this project. 👍👍
That is a GORGEOUS cabinet! Fantastic restoration, thanks for sharing.
In America and I searched up repairing veneer and what was it to begin with. Google brought you up first with this video. The satisfaction and excitement this brought me!!! Absolutely beautiful work, I can’t wait to start collecting more tools that I need for my massive projects. I have a Waterfall Buffett that has been in my family over 50 yrs and then a massive leaf drop wood table to patch and restore!!!

I found him after watching literally over 100 videos😮 Im restoring my daughter’s childhood dresser and I chipped through the top veneer🤦♀️ I’m SO excited (but terrified) to try Keith’s technique🤭🥹
Thank you for not killing the spiders. I always catch and release.

If they stay away from me, they live, if not, they die
Now that’s come out really well, I’ve never tackled anything like this but feel inspired so might give it a go. And never used a card scraper either, I’ve lead a sheltered life lol 😂. Great video and thanks for sharing 👍
Wow ! The colour popped beautifully, lovely resturation, very enjoyable tutorial. Thanks
my favorite project so far. beautiful!
You are as much an artist as a wood worker. The pieces I've watch you work on now have new life and their beauty back. I really enjoy these videos.
Great instructional and inspirational video, thank you, thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Unbelievable transformation. Awesome work!
Wonderful job. Glad your client is happy.
Nice Job Keith, remember we having something very similar but bigger in fifties or early sixties in our front room, my mothers pride and joy !!!
Beautiful! I like the thought of using the sharpie to fix small points. Thank you.
Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing your process; it's fascinating!
It*s much more beautiful now! LooKs very rich in contrast! Beautiful eye and ability to achieve such art!

Oh this was GOOD, thank you for sharing! I especially enjoyed how the veneer just pops after you restored it, such a beautiful difference :D
That turned out really nice, the veneer looks so much better after you refinished it.
Wow that grain on the veneer makes this a very trippy piece! Very beautiful work.
Came out beautifully! Bravo!
Looks beautiful
What a lovely grain this piece has. You did a great job refurbishing this Beaty. Well done.
That is beautiful! What a fantastic job you & friend did!

This video was soooo satisfying ❤️❤️❤️ beautiful!
Wow what a transformation job well done Keith.
Thanks so much! You've taught me a lot. I'm contemplating my first furniture project--a MCM credenza--that is veneer. So far, I've figured out, I gotta strip and then sand by hand. 100 and 250 grit. I was almost going to use an orbital sander and try to stain the wood really dark...but your video has taught me that would lead to sadness!
Fantastic job looks great 👍👍👍👍
That turned out beautiful!
Fantastic transformation, thank you for sharing xxx
Excellent work and glad you took us through the steps
Brilliant restoration job! Well done Keith!
SMH - who were the 46 people who gave this a thumbs down and in God's name why? This is one of the better done videos on KZread. Learned a lot! Subscribed.
Love your videos! They are getting me so inspired to do some work on some old pieces I own. This is beautiful work.

Lovely job.
really great work, and a lovely bit of furniture - the recall of the wood grain when you put on white spirit was orgasmic
Fantastic job
This was very therapeutic 😌 looks amazing! I'm now wondering how much better all my vintage furniture would look if I knew what to do with it!

Impressively done! Great job done there 👍👏👏👏
Brilliant instructor on basic projects.
Very nicely done
6:50 & 9:27 are GREAT tips. Thanks. Very helpful.
You succeeded in two things with this video: 1) I think this is one of your prettiest pieces and you did an excellent job, it definitely went with the table. I wouldn’t mind betting it was even better than new. 2) Again you made me feel old as I can remember these being common place in many homes. They usually started off full of fancy duty free but ended up as a dumping places for letters etc.
This was a great video. Just got a 1958 Phillips tv which the cabinet need a bit of work. This gives me a great starting point to my first cabinet resto. 👍🏻😎
Awesome video and you included the links to the tools, really appreaciate it.
Great Fixes and Great finish. Well done Keith
Very nice work and well worth saving.
Fantastic result, didn't know you could restore veneer, thanks for the video. Great to see uk videos :)
Great job, love that cabinet.
Beautiful piece! Awesome job! 👍😃
This is such a cool piece. Awesome job.
Wonderful finish. I know nothing about restoration so it was a joy to watch.
After trying 20 or more videos I found yours. That´s what I was looking for. A real professional... and you saved the spiders. Good boy.
So great to see a master at work!
Well done a great finish, you worked wanders with this project
Great job on a beautiful little cabinet
I’m about to undertake a restoration of a 1930’s waterfall china cabinet and this video is helping me maintain my sanity and my brass balls. Thank you!
Another job well done
Best stripper I've found/used that's available in UK (IMHO) is Polycell Maximum Strength Paint Stripper. Old-school stinky (NOT a VOC product). Comes as a fairly thick paste (so doesn't run off vertical surfaces) in a tub. Have stripped two dining room tables, a set of six dining chairs and an ESA compass-leg table with ease. Just do it outdoors - the fumes are INSANE. Keep up the good work!
Such a gorgeous piece! Nice work
Stumbled across this. Loved it.
Great job
Nice work mate, thanks for posting!
