I used to watch other watch channels but seeing how you deal with your children, and even allowing them into a video, even though they don’t understand that part fully yet, mealts my heart. I remember bringing my children into my offices and spending hours downloading songs snd movies and watching and listening. But most importantly making memories for me now that they are gone off to make their marks in this world. You have earned a life long follower. Thank you.

There is something cathartic about watching this.

I truly never gave much thought to watches… I put them on, take them off,go to the jewelry store to replace the battery. But as I have watched your videos for a couple of years I find myself gasping at the mistreatment of beautiful watches, cleaning my fitness tracker from wrist gunk (while keeping a previous meal where it belongs), and appreciating the amazing perfection of even inexpensive time pieces. And at some point I think what a great skill you have. Many blessings to you, the ‘Accountant’ and of course your apprentice.

You are so talented, I’m always totally amazed watching your work. The plain leather strap was the most beautiful choice, you’ve got great taste! Your sense of humor is so entertaining and your little one too. Thanks so much for your wonderful episode!

Nowadays using a cnc mill but in the olden days, they used round metal stock and very small lathe machines and gear hobbers. Sometimes stampings.

If my aunt hadn't been in love with Piaget watches then I would have never heard of the brand. She owned a Piaget for every occasion, some were quiet elegant. When I was a youth, the luxury brands were Omega and Rolex. Brands such as Baum Mercier and Concord were around. My first watch in high school was a Mido Ocean Star, a most durable watch that was lost in a repair shop, never to be found.

It is your humor and humbleness as much as your technical skill that keeps me glued to KZread waiting for your videos! Thank you for sharing!

I love the ingenuity of children. He's how old and has the wits to suggest using the electric hair clippers out of the blue. I sit in many meetings with adults only able to focus on the issue instead of the solution. also I love how the watches look like new at the end. I know a lot of people like to preserve the wear and patina on old watches during restorations, but personally enjoy when these watches magically go back in time to the moment when an enthusiastic individual was feeling the excitement of wanting to purchase it when seeing it in the store's window or presented on a velvet display tray inside. Thank you for your genuine videos without overly edited footage, and the fun bits added with your son. Great work!!

Lovely to see you as a skilled, well equipped, humorous watch repairer. Thank you! I watch the less skilled, less equipped people as well, and have accumulated a few pieces of equipment for opening watches, changing glass faces, changing straps, and maybe disassemble / reassemble a watch or two. No big money being invested, but it is fun to learn and practice...

That’s a lovely watch. Reminds me of my Mum.

I saw Nekkid and went right away to the subscribe button. Who'd have though now I'm binge watching watch restoration videos?

I've been off work with covid and this channel is keeping me sane,been watching it non stop,love the way the son just comes in and asked for random stuff hilarious, I also want to know 'how to make a boomerang '

I love you videos right down to the jokes, family "interruptions", off key singing, and oh yes Homer Simpson. I know nothing about watches, and cannot imagine trying to fit one of those small screws, or springs in place.

I love the way the parts you work with make the "smallish" things I make look so HUGE. I enjoyed the work on the hands best of all.

I love watching these videos which is amusing because I'm not a watch person. I own 1 watch that was a 15-year anniversary gift from the company I worked for. I've worn it once. This watch is absolutely positively magnificent. I think if I had a watch like that I might actually wear it

Thank you for sharing! - I know when dealing with our household Minister of War and Finance, there are always diplomatic approaches when submitting requests for new tool(toy) acquisitions. If the requests are not submitted in the appropriate manner the wife, I mean Minister, can easily re-distribute funds that I would have allocated for such tools.

For a long time i've had the idea at the back of my mind to do some watch making / breaking. Your amazing videos have pushed me over the edge...I'm going to do it! Thanks for the inspiration. Hope the accountant and trouble are all well.

I haven't worn a watch in over 40 years, just don't like to. I do so enjoy watching you repair these watches and all the internal workings. And yes I do watch the commercials, the least I can do. You do crack me up at times, good one on the Homer on the finger glove.

It just amazes me that Piaget's been able to manufacture watches this thin, with such miniature component pieces, since the late 1950s. Can you just imagine, if after a cataclysmic event, future archeologist were to find one of these watches? What would they think? It would be like our civilization finding the Antihythera Mechanism.

I served my time as a manufacturing jeweller back in the 1960's in Dunedin, New Zealand. In the workshop there was a watchmaker from the UK . In the back of all the watch repairs he would put a number and a date. In a book there would be the owners details. He was able to tell the police who repaired, the owner, and all the details if the watch had been stolen. Do you do this kind of thing? I enjoy your postings and humor. Thanks Andy.
