Old rusty knife Restoration. This rusty knife was found in the woods. I don't know how old he is, but he's been underground for a long time. The rust really ruined the knife. I decided to restore a rusty knife. I removed the rust and made a new decorated handle. I hope you liked my restoration.

Pins..rivets...what the hell...it is still a low grade ,fairly mediocre knife..much ado about nothing.

Nice restoration, I like the process you used, I like the fact that you did not try to take all the imperfections out and used them to make the knife a unique piece, good choice of wood for the handle and the finish used on it. The copper rivets was a nice touch also. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.

So, if I’m understanding this right, you add the baking soda onto the knife itself in order for it to not oxidize and rust again?

Vinegar is an acid. Soda neutralizes the acid
