Yes,I agree! When I see his videos I wonder what will happen to his beautiful collection of cars when he passes? There once was the Briggs Cunningham Auto Museum, that I was fortunate to visit in 1977,beautiful place. Now it’s gone after Briggs passed. There once was the Harrah Car Museum in Vegas. All gone. I think Jay has more cars than both had combined. Jay should live to at least 100!

To be fair, a lot of craftsmen don't like having others looking over their shoulders while they work (everyone's a critic). And few have Mustie1's ability to interact amiably with a camera audience while they work. -- It occurs to me that Mustie1 lives only about 15 miles from Jay's hometown. Jay should look him up next time he's back east.

I had a 1954 Hudson Super Jet that I wanted to restore, but it was too far gone. It was parked in 1985 and had not been driven since. The engine and transmission were fine, in fact the engine ran so smooth and quiet i would bet it had been rebuilt not long before it was parked, but the rest of the car was in need of EVERYTHING. I love old American cars, but I keep winding up with old European stuff. An old car is a great car when everything works right, but a nightmare when they don't. Best of luck with your LeSabre, Let me know how it's going.

Had tears flowing throughout the video, the history that Jay shares with us FOR FREE will stop when he is no longer with us. He is the collector that collects to share and drive these great cars and brings us along for the ride. Who would show a F1 without it's exhaust revving like he did? Nobody. I used to make my son watch Jay's videos and now he is the one telling me that Jay has a new one up to watch. Do not take Jay for granted, when he is gone the behind the ropes views that he gives to us normal cars nuts will be gone. The press will state his tv experience but for me it will always be Jay Leno's garage, the place where us common people that love cars get to experience what so few usually do.

Jay, you and i are from two completely different generations, and yet i feel like your living the dream i have every night, i appreciate your courtesy in allowing everyone to see what a great collection you have. I can't express to you how much i love the fact that you don't just buy a shiny new car and store it away so it never gets used, but the fact that you give new life to cars that have been forgotten. If you are ever in the Pittsburgh area i would love to take you out to lunch!

By bringing all these back into running condition Jay has really helped keep them alive and keep them out of the scrap yards. He deserves some sort of an award. Not many people realize how special engineering from back in the day was how it advanced into what we all take for granted today.

People may think this idea is dumb, but i love the idea of a car of such magnitude that is so great that it must be serviced by a personal professional technician. For example; cars like a McLaren F1, Pagani, or an Aston Martin Vulcan. The quintessential car of each time, no restrictions, no limitations, and no rationale or reason. Pure perfection in the embodiment of the soul or essence in what an idea turned creation. ❤️

Can we see the guys working on the cars as well? Either here or on a separate channel you could have video series where we can follow along with a build and really see and learn from their craft. They can explain what they are doing and why they are doing it during the build. It doesn't have to be fancy with a big crew, just someone with a decent camera and a lav mike. You could even get some local film school students in to make the videos. I'd really like to see good quality craftsmanship without all the nonsense drama tv producers insist on.
