All this implies that someone just dumped a fully working laptop years ago, disassembled it and left it all in one area to be serendipitously found ten years later. How fortunate that the screen and memory were OK, and that the laptop wasn't simply dumped because of a fatal error, and that the video maker didn't go the whole way through this exercise only to find this out. What a stroke of good fortune!

😆😆😆 2 million views on this video. What a load of garbage. This shit can never be restored specifically the display and battery. Everything got replaced.

First he got a crappy laptop, took it apart and painted it red. Then he makes a video how he puts it back together (good condition) and afterwards he destructs it and throws it overnight in the landfill to make the “finding it” part. That’s how it was even able to work. Just look at the end when he assembles the case... the hole he fixed with woodshavings and superglue is completely gone, not even a single scratch there.

@@user-uw3od1jl4g нет блять он из настолько разъебанного компа чуть ли не в новое состояие его привел: где замена запчастей? - не поверю что он может их восстановить, да и это в принципе невозможно, а корпус который просто нахуй сломан в 10 местах после того как он повозил наждачкой и покрасил красной краской, тоже как новый, трещины так вообще просто исчезают без следа. Где он взял новую клавиатуру/как починил ту? он тупо "разбирает", вертит в руках ту что уже в грязи и сломана а потом - раз и вот у него уже все чистое (кстати даже по клавиатуре видно что она не новая а ей пользовались, так как она затертая) видео настолько убогая халтура что не понятно как в это верить можно. - он тупо взял комп, разъебал его и смонтировал видос наоборот "типа чинит". долбоеб

This is digestible. Circuit boards are usually cleaned with ultrasonic cleaners that require the board to be immersed in water and will not be harmed until it's totally dry when you power it up. However, what I can't digest is there's absolutely no corrosion in the board while it was covered with mud for 10 years.

Heres what i thought. Buy a used laptop, dissasembles it, record while reassembling, shows that it works fine, destroyed it and dumped it, collect from the dumpster the following week, clean it. And then edit the video for the sweet sweet youtube money.

I highly doubt that the motherboard just worked with scrubbing from a toothbrush. All that moisture in the dirt should have corroded the soldering points and even something as light as a brush can brush off the SMDs. I also don't think that the laptop has been collecting dirt for more than 1 day, because it would be obvious if it was left out a week full of dirt, the board should be toast. Is this a clickbait video? Yes.

I thought it was like anything else electronic that gets wet (like cell phones people find underwater that still work) simply needed to be removed from a power supply and allowed to dry completely before putting any power back through it. @@starmember132 Lets also take notice the CPU and GPU heatsink assembly. As far as I seen there was no thermal paste added to either. IF that motherboard he showed installing the heatsink on is in fact the one working in the video its no wonder why its so slow loading programs in the video. That poor thing is probably immediately thermal throttling and will die a slow death due to maxed out thermal loads. Which is exactly what that Frankenstein's monster deserves. A slow agonizing death. Spray painting a laptop... get out of here.

Dude muchas veces en el vídeo, y lo termine de confirmar cuando encendiste la notebook y sin tener conexion a internet estaba la fecha correcta, la pila interna que guarda la configuración de la BIOS jamas dura mas de 7 años.

@@vairos pues ro reparo computadoras desde hace mas de 9 años y en el estado que estaba no mostro ningun indicio de reparacion de motherwork lo que mas porbable es que cambio todo lo interno traia una baterias puesta fue mojada, en si no mostro el proceso de reinstalacion de os es entretenido pero los que saben hasta les daria ganas de llevarle a restaurar con el haaha

Hay una prueba mas facil del engaño: el plastico se regenera y vuelve a estar como nuevo. Nomas mira el video en el 8:38 y luego mira en el 17:26 como desaparece el parche que hizo y el plastico esta como nuevo sin ninguna marca del parche 😅. Mas estafador este video

next time when your scripting a video make sure you start with the motherboard and check if it works or show us how you repair it because for now i believe you're performing miracle and maintain the casing or put a new one.

You just wash the battery in the river, than you can reuse it without explosion.

Despite of all the dirts I would say motherboard and other components are in very good condition 😂

This video shows everything that should not be done when restoring a computer with electronic components, it is also impressive that the connectors are not corroded and the battery is not sulfated hehehehe
