Fake. Here's 45 reasons why. 1. Why does the guy need to be filmed shoveling gravel. 1a. I've never heard of anyone who doesn't use gloves shovel gravel in a brand-new wheelbarrow in shorts and flip flops. I'd be concerned that he isn't wearing close-toed shoes. 2. The computer is covered in a uniform layer of dirt, and dirt is where dirt should never be. 2a. The dirt is a different texture than where it was found. 3. Notice, no dirt on screws 4. The wet dirt at 2:53 is probably from when the computer was sprayed with water to adhere the dirt 5. 3:49 the logic board is covered with dirt, which is impossible. And is likely irreparable as traces would be scratched. 6. 4:38 it is impossible for dirt to get under the board as it was SCREWED INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE CASE 7. 4:46 Anyone surprised at the number of intact capacitors and lack of rust. 8. 5:33 The mystery of the clean screws, Exhibit B. And how does he know so much about the computer that he picked up from under a gravel pile. IS HE A MECHANIC OR CONSTRUCTION WORKER?!?! Thumbs up if he is fake. 9. 5:52 Nice clean NEW thermal paste?!?! 10. 6:49. Clean screw. 11. 7:17 Whoops, forgot to paint dirt under the bezel. 12. All that work disassembling the screen was unnecessary. 13. 10:00 He would have scratched a trace or knocked off a cap. 14. IS THE GUY LITERALLY USING SOAP+WATER?!?! Noooooo! 15. 11:46 WTF? 16. 12:12 Shiny... almost brand new--- oh wait. 17. 13:05 has to be taken before 10:00, the board has no evidence of dust. 18. 14:01 The dude's literally measuring Ohms. ANY POINT on the ground net will cause the needle to move. 19. Notice the K key at 16:17? It isn't connected to the keyboard at all! 20. 16:33 must have been taken before 16:17. Look at the crack on the V key for proof. 21. "Fixing" the old screen was pointless. 22. No screen protector or plastic peel-off sheet. Maybe it's the old screen? (in reverse) 23. I don't see a battery. And I don't think the power plug is actually plugged in. Can't wait to see if it powers on. 24. No thermal paste. Not possible to run for more than a minute or two. Although it would be totally unnecessary, because it physically can't power on. 25. 19:17 no signs of scratching by a brush on the PCB. 26. those vias are squeaky clean. No dirt. 27. 19:26 Do you need a cutscene there? (assuming you aren't hiding something.) 28. I sw---- it the guy loads Windows 10 or something--- on 1G ram?! 29. He does plug in the power... that's the one thing he did right. 30. That cannot be the old drive. The old one didn't have a label. 31. 21:59 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's the right way to secure a ribbon cable. 32. Where's the restoration for that part? 33. 22:56. The entire upper half is not the same. Look at the fingerprints on the screen for evidence. 34. The keyboard is different. The V key isn't cracked. 35. Something doesn't seem right about the keyboard installation. I think it's bulging in the center. 36. 24:03. Now that's Quality! 37. Ok. That's a battery. Second good thing so far. 38. The intel logo on the boot screen cannot exist on the supposed chipset. 39. That does not look like a Windows 7 boot time at all. I had experience with win7 and it never was this fast, even in a desktop. 40. No one: WiFi password: 12345678, name MyHome. 41. I quit. WTF. Wow, sooo fake. Thumbs up if you noticed these or other inconsistencies.

Смотрю подобные видео и каждый раз радуюсь за авторов. Счастливчики!! Нашли на помойке, в болоте, в своей куче щебня (!!!) подброшенный ноут, на клавиатуре которого осталась только треть кнопок. И как им повезло, какой бы древней не была модель, у них всегда есть недостающие кнопки в нужном количестве!!!! Какой бы убогий ни был дизайн клавиатуры, любого цвета и формы, у них всегда найдутся запасные кнопки именно этой формы, цвета, оттенка и сохрана. Мистика!!!

I was so inspired by this video, that i gathered my own shovel, wheel barrow and hard hat and went to my nearby sand heap hoping to find an intact ps4😐. I digged and digged with all my might until i found a perfectly fossilized dog dudu🐕💩... man im so proud of my find!! 🏋️‍♂️... hope this guy can restore it to working order🤔🤨😂😂... ah GONe!!!!

no joke!! had a family member leave a original Nintendo outside their place and for over a week it got rained on but I take it home cleaned it up and totally doesnt show a spot of rust besides in the power supply box i got so lucky to catch it before anymore damage was done....its bad enough i go around town and see old CRT TV's going to waste

As a 35 yrs working experience electronic engineer, I can tell the possibility of restoring a laptop in such condition with such procedures is non-sense. It is too funny that measuring those components with a ohm-meter and I really can't figure out why doing this. Anyway, too fake but entertained me.
