FACTS! It has 100% to do with the hater and 0% to do with the random people they hate. They're so deficient and insecure that they have to try to devalue (or outright deny) other people's existence to make themselves feel better. But inside they are really unhappy and self-hating. Because happy people who are confident, secure, and love themselves don't resort to hating strangers because they look different, love differently, worship differently, etc.

Jeez Temi, I'm a middle aged white woman and I love love love the fact that you are a young creative, confident, black woman showing the world your talent. You have such a great platform to encourage and inspire other young people of colour to go out and do their thing confidently in spite of the racist and hate comments you get. I love this video - put them in their place! You are an inspiration to all artists irrespective of their heritage, colour, size, religion etc. For me personally, as an artist trying out a new medium, I have already learnt so much from your great teaching. I don't care if someone is black white or stripey as long as they are able to be proud of who they are. You, are simply, amazing.

the 'eww black hands' comment was so cruel.. i'm from india, there are pale/wheat ish/dark skinned people here but nowhere dark as me. I'm always left self conscious when filming videos with my hands in it just because of the fear of getting the same racist comment. I'm still trying to improve on it and tell myself that it doesn't matter. but people like us have been bullied throughout school, have adults laughed at our expense, and now idk when I would be completely ready. so kudos to you! I love you and your work! ❤

@@marikemp2243 Yeah, in a way every race is equal, no one is more evolved than the other. From what I’ve heard, white people like me can drink milk, and from what I’ve heard it’s because we didn’t get as much sun as other races so we had to get our vitamin d through milk. Darker skin tones and people with smaller eyes can have their skin and eyes handle the sun better, and don’t usually get sunburns and are less likely to have eye problems because they adapted to all the sun (correct me if I’m wrong on any of this). We’re all the same, we just evolved differently because we had to adapt to different climates. Even if one was less evolved in some way, we are all still humans beings and deserve the same respect and kindness, no one is better than the other and everyone is beautiful, no matter what.

Tbh, my favorite parts of your videos are your awesome accent (I could listen to you for days) and your beautiful hands and nails making amazing art.

I’ve watched your videos in the past and every time I see your smiling face I’m taken aback at how crazy gorgeous you are and your cheerful personality. I started watching your videos a few weeks ago and I’m already in love! I don’t know how people manage to give you hate😩🤚

I love the fact that you explain everything. It really helps me. Ps. You're absolutely beautiful. Pps. The way you colour black skin is amazing. The green and purple you used in the video where you draw and colour yourself everyday is phenomenal. I'm not the brave when it comes to skin tones yet. It's most definitely an area i struggle with.

I am an Afro-Puertorican artist who routinely draws people of color. When I was in art school many years ago I asked why did we not have live models of color and the professor answered that the black body does not adequately represent the beauty of the human form. I took great exception to this as did many of the other students one of whom complained to the dean of the art department. The professor was forced to apologize but after that incident I didn’t even want to look at him. One of our assignments was to draw our family members. Mine range from beige to ebony black and I titled my presentation “The Beauty of Black.” Btw. I love your hands.

Whew, wow, a lot to unpack with that, aside from it being untrue (also, someone needs to talk with his people when they tan darkly and get plastic surgery to get bodies more like black women). That is plain disgusting! In Guatemala we have so much racism against indigenous people specially and darker people in general. My fan goes from very light skinned but warm toned to very dark . People have skin tones adapted to their natural environment for Vitamin D absorption, that’s literally it . Black people can easily get Vitamin D deficient in countries like Sweden while white people will age visible faster in too much sun because it damages their skin, their light skin, specially if it’s cool undertones can’t tolerate much sun and it’s purpose is absorbing easily the bit of Vitamin D from the little sun they have in their native environment. My daughter is darker skinned with natural gorgeous curls and I hate when people in Guatemala say it’s a shame she got her fathers skin and hair. I hate it and banished these people from our lives. Darker skin is so ,so often just gorgeous, vibrant and amazing. There’s beauty in all human forms. I hope that Professor won’t harm more young people.

Btw, I clicked on your video the first time BECAUSE I saw black hands. I’d been watching a lot of videos of ppl drawing various things and was pleasantly surprised to see some black representation. Love what you do sis!

My grandma always said, "if you get hate you're doing something right" And I think that's true. There's too many jealous, & negative people that just spread negativity. In the words of Daffy duck they're despicable. I think you're gorgeous and your art is amazing! I also love your videos where you give us tips because it has helped me improve my colored pencil shading/highlighting. The keeping your pencils sharp and the importance of paper choice has really been great advice. I also found out from your blind mind video that I have what you mentioned in that video. I never knew their was a name for it but now I know it's called Aphantasia. (It kept trying to change it to Ashanti 😆) I actually recently got back into art, specifically on sketch cards relating to marvel. I made my own art page with my sketches and resin work as well. Which I was really nervous to do lol. So I'm thankful I found your videos on KZread! I also realized it's always the people who can't draw hating on people who can.

I don't think the person who commented about the long nails we're trying to hate. I was puzzled about how you were able to do art with the nails also. I don't get my nails often but I do find it difficult using medium light painting and markers. The markers and the paint always seem to get underneath my nails and do not come off.

Some questions can just seem a bit rude, like when children ask certain questions. They might not have ment it in a rude way but the way they were asking it they were thinking too much about themselves by saying oh it would be so uncomfortable and inconvenient to me to wear something like that, why would you ever do that? Wow, some people! Your voice is beautiful and so calming. You are beautiful, and I can’t believe someone would actually say “ew” when they saw your hands! Seriously??? You were the first Black artist the KZread algorithm added to my feed and when I saw your hands, I thought, “oh, cool, she’s Black.” Your work is gorgeous, and so are you.
