These kids have found all ways to call me fat, but can't find one answer to a multiplication fact as a middle schooler, but that's neither here nor there. My thing is, and I tell them, that I'm not offended that they're calling me fat, it's sad they thought that would upset me and that's all they've got to bring to the table. It's pathetic, and I'm offended that's what I have to counter on a daily basis. It literally kills my brain cells the low level with which I have to process. Told a kid his smugness at the lower-elementary level he was operating at was truly mind-boggling. His counter was that it was at a 4th grade level. I told him no it's not, and my point exactly. Genuises. Just real, geniuses 😮‍💨

If I were the teacher in that situation, I would say to that student “Well you must not be able to fit in your chair because you’re always falling out of it.”

The first time I saw BT on tour I was with work-mates and had a great time. The show was great humor. Second time I saw BT on tour I was with a good friend of mine. This was more than a year after the first show. I had raved about what a great time I had at the first show. My friend's child bought the tickets for the second show, and my friend invited me. The humor was so crass, we were both mortified. Laughed for one of the performances, a performer who doesn't resort to gross or R-rated. One performer was on stage WAY too long, and everything out of that person's mouth was vulgar. Everything. BT on Tour burned me once. I'm leery to try a third show, even though I LOVED the first one. The second one really left a rotten taste.
