Resident Evil Village - Dagger of Death's Flowers
Check out Resident Evil Village today www.inflcr.co/SH7Nn. Lady Dimitrescu has hidden the Dagger of Death's Flowers in her castle! You have to find it and we have to make it! Starting on the power hammer Ilya forges the blade and then moves to the anvil to hand forge the bevels of the blade. Matt works on carving the handle out of a solid block of aluminum and then they hunt Lady Dimitrescu at the end !

@@Nhire in all fairness, if he isn't precise with what he does he could ruin the piece, just like a surgeon could yknow, kill someone if they arent precise. its also worth noting how difficult it is to be so precise with a grinder on its own, especially one that size - there's no denying the man is skilled. original comment also said "like a surgeon," not verbatim that he has the precision of a surgeon.
I missed Ilya's usual flair for insane metalworking detail, but Matt's flex with the sanders and the dremel more than made up for it. Absolutely incredible!

My what a beautiful dagger! Lady Dimitrescu and her castle were masterpieces. Still feel raw about it😭. I wasn't ready to say goodbye or so soon.
And she took the time to carefully hide the one thing that she thought could kill her instead of, say, melting it, throwing it in the middle of the ocean or destroying it in some other creative way. How very thoughtful of her.

Oh guys, that's just fabulous. Well done! Great to see Matt turn his hand to more detail carving and engraving as well. ❤️
Whenever I see builds like this, where the piece has that 'grotesque' aesthetic, I keep remembering Ilya's short lecture on the topic back in the Sword of Artorias build. Idk why but his words really stuck to me. Grotesque but beautiful at the same time indeed. 😁😊

Alright, again requesting a sword from the Golden Sun serie ! Be it Felix's sword from the official art, or a reworked version of the Gaia Blade from Dark Dawn (with it's nice bronze finish). Or ('cause i got yelled at by the fandom last time lol) the Sol Blade, but that'd be quite a challenge to find a material that gives this crystalline feel.

I really hoped that the dagger became an upgrade for the basic knife, and I'm disappointed that it wasn't even a postgame unlockable. It has such a nice design, and you only see it for 15 seconds. You guys did it justice, and I'm glad it got this sort of attention. Also this is the first video I've found of you guys since you were on Man at Arms, so it's even better to see you're still working your magic bringing fictional weapons to life.

Phenomenal work as always. Keep it up.
Love the skill Matt showed on the handle! I don't think i have the patience to practice carving with a hammer and chisel but if a beauty like this can be made with such tools I'm comfortable with, then I feel inspired to try it out.
Its cool that Capcom went to you guys for this despite the split, thats respect for your craftsmanship.

I love all the freehand carving with power tools that can destroy all your work in a second if your attention wanders or your grip falters. That is skill.
I absolutely love this darker you don’t want to have a job of creating it and ever since that can come out I was hoping this would actually be a thing that they will build because it’s such a beautiful dagger .
Another amazing build by you guys!!! The Dremel work was incredible. Something that might be interesting for a separate project would be any of sung Jin-woo’s knives/short swords from the manhwa Solo Leveling.
This was fantastic! Once again nicely done guys!!!
