One of the most beautiful and powerful swords created by the blacksmith with all his love and skill
This is the sword that took me the longest to make, all the detailed patterns are meticulously made little by little. I have great love for this sword, it is the great challenge I went through in sword making. Hope it will satisfy the demanding audience!

The skill and knowledge shown to create this is incredible. I can't even imagine the skill to make this (which was clearly done in the past) without all the modern technology he used.

A beautiful sword, not just fit for a king but fit for a hero. If I had one tiny criticism it's that it needed a cage to extend down to the handle and protect the hand, which was kind of standard in swords of that nature.
@notfeedynotlazy
22 күн бұрын
Standard it was indeed. As it was little details like being hardened and tempered, or not having a screw-on pommel on a rat-tang handle, or being actually sharpened... You realize this is a sword-shaped obect intended only for looks and not for combat, right?
Sir, I salute you for a truly extraordinary work of artistic craftsmanship. I would be proud to have this sword in my collection.

Actually? ...No. This seems to be a _spada de lato_ ...The immediate predecessor to the rapier... I'll even go a step further and assert that the early iterations of rapiers generally weren't peculiarly long... Whereas an _Éstóc/Estoc_ were 'all about' having a noticeable to notorious length...
A piece of art!

Nice sword. Extraordinary detail pattern work. If I may humbly make a suggestion, Please show your tools some love and put some oil on them and remove the rust so they may last long to be used by your talented hands. Peace

haha, thank you for that, but where I live the climate is hot and humid, lots of rain + high humidity, it's very difficult for tools to not rust even if I store them.

Forging on the moon would be awesome. No atmosphere. No oxygen especially. Induction heating, and it stays red hot for hours. Heat put into it just be beating it would raise the temperature. No scale.

That's not a rapier. Its blade is cut and slash blade, rapier was more thrust weapon with ability to cut being secondary (sometimes even impossible). This kind of sword is called a side-sword.
Great work. This weapon would've been even greater as per my personal aesthetic tastes without the gold, the basket hilt and with a plain, straight cross-guard with a square cross section.
