If i know capcom the way i think i do. there's a high possibility there's going to be some sort of homage to the original dog. whether it's through a different dog or something else. so i'm sure it's a type of provocative misdirection on their part. they've been avoiding the subject when asked as well so don't lower your head too fast

Dijeron que estaban re-construyendo todo el juego original, con ideas nuevas y renovando cosas. Y se nota claramente el tiempo y dedicación que me han puesto. Casi lloro de la emoción viendo el gameplay y trailers 😔 aunque tengan que re-inventar cosas, éste seguramente pueda considerarse un verdadero Remake, a diferencia de los otros juegos que eran más bien unos RE pero una versión re-inventada de los originales :I

@@cirax21mf Es porque el re2 no tiene tanto contenido recortado como si lo tiene el Re3. Debemos considerar que Re3 tuvo solo un año de desarrollo, lo cual es bastante pero BASTANTE corto para un juego, solo porque tuvieron recursos de dónde copiar y pegar :/ mientras que re2 tuvo más tiempo de planeación, aunque no fue 100% fiel a su versión original.

There's something about older graphics that captivate me more. I like the look of the nature in the original, it feels like I'm in a cold countryside. The remake looks a little more jungle-like and darker. The original looks creepier. Newer graphics for some reason make me feel like I'm not even playing a videogame, it's almost too realistic if that makes any sense. But that's just me.

This game holds such a strong, special place in my heart and memories. Usually I'm up for remasters and remakes when done right. But for some reason, I just can't be with this one. Will say there's some cool things they did from the looks of it, but not so sure I have the desire to play it this time around...

I am with you. Nothing will ever beat Silent hill 1.

One thing I really loved about the original RE4's first chapter: it made DAYLIGHT look somber and ominous, and yet somehow also soothing with its brown, earth-tone color palette. I'm hugely disappointed that the remake sets the first chapter in night time. I wish they had stuck with daytime.

Based on what we've seen, the beginning of the game takes place in the early morning, not at night. The sun is already up by the time Leon reaches the village.

Moi aussi j'avais peur que les équipes ne soit pas à la hauteur de l'ambition démesuré du projet. Ce jeu est légendaire. Moi aussi j'ai ressenti les mêmes frissons qu'en 2004 lors de l'annonce du jeu sur Ngc, j'ai eût les larmes aux yeux de plaisirs et de ressenti tellement la séquence du village est fidèle à l'original. C'est l'un des grands moments du jeu avec l'arrivée au château qui a marqué nombre de personnes au fer rouge. Le background, la réalisation surtout et la DA ainsi que le game design ont été conservés fort heureusement. C'est la force de cet opus combiné à un bestiaire exemplaire de grande qualité et très diversifié contrairement à tous les autres opus de la série et une grande variété des décors.

@@crassusmaximus5879 Don't misunderstand me, RE4 was a great title with stunning environment and great battles, but if I think about it, the only scary moments I remember were battles against Verdugo and U-3. Use of good sounds and noises makes not automatically a scary atmosphere. But I suppose it's something we can discuss about, what is scary for you maybe is not for me and and other way round.. ;)

Assuming Capcom is going to do everything right, and keep things going. And not a trash like re3. I can already say that some details the remake is better, and darker, but in other things the original re4, for me is even better, like the gun and the briefcase, and the non-concern in being ultra-realistic with clothes and design, and yes a Video Game, not a movie...

Sinceramente, acho que a parte gráfica em vários momentos está deixando a desejar, da pra ver inúmeras texturas borradas, inclusive isso é devido ao Crossgen, já que o RE4 não é um game feito pra Old-gen mas a Capcom tá tenando ao máximo colocar ele no console antigo, não importa se vai estragar a experiência dos jogadores da ATUAL geração

You can trade for the laser attachment in the merchants shop. They showed it briefly during the full presentation when discussing the merchant.

I still have the original GameCube version of RE4, which I'm currently replaying with my 11 years old daughter on my Wii. She wasn't even born yet when I played the game for the first time :)

7:14 Original roundhouse kick is back Depending on the distance between leon and the enemy there will be different animations for the kick If you are closer to the enemy it will be roundhouse kick the og one If you are farther away than the enemy it will be the new kick. I am sure there are a lot of other animations that we havent seennyet

Resident Evil 4 was the game that introduced me to the series. Unlike the other two remakes, this is one where I actually played the original. I'm very eager to see how they handle it. So far it looks great.

@@Proxymated Resident Evil 5 was made with it in mind. they dropped it pretty fast, but if you want to play resident evil co-op then 5 is your way to do so

Esta muerto segun se ve, pero por mi parte quisiera que el lobo estuviera pasando por ahí y Pum La trampa sono y nosotros jugando con Leon pasando y liberando al Lobo.

Que bueno que mejoraron la jugabilidad del juego original porque el resident evil original casi no se podía jugar, cada movimiento que se hacía nos volvía al frente, era de locos.

@@josuegamboa8993 Por eso mismo lo digo, es posible que lo que muestra el trailer es que las acciones del jugador tienen consecuencias, y si no rescatas al lobo en su debido momento luego lo encuentras muerto.

This background music is so soothing

They're trying to make it look more "SCARY" and I like it. The OG RE4 is a great game, no doubt about it, but this remake is giving me hope to see the comeback of the true survival horror genre.
