That looks like the nicest Residence Inn I have ever seen, and I've stayed in several in the past few years. I really like how there is a lot right by the hotel including nearby access to the BART. I could easily see me staying there although I probably would not rent a car while staying there unless it was for the day. The parking is quite expensive!

CRAZY parking fees...I don't know of any hotel without free parking in Thailand. Recently I paid the equivalent of $23 to park my car in a lot for 18 days on a trip to Koh Lipe. I believe the most expensive parking in the country is at Bangkok International Airport at about $10 a day.

Yeah.. parking prices in US cities is out of control
I had to stay in Berkeley for a weekend and all the hotels were a little pricey so I went with an Airbnb instead 👍🏼

Loved the review, loved the hotel. But man, $49 for parking.... per day!!!! That could be a big isssue on my decision making for choosing this hotel.

Park at a Bart station for $6 and take Bart there
