Hyatt Regency Vancouver *DETAILED* Hotel Review
We spent 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. This is our review of the hotel covering a two queen bed city view room, the common areas of the hotel, and the neighborhood around the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and think it make's a great base in Vancouver's central business district.

My wife and I actually stayed here Thirty Years ago at the tail end of our Canadian Honeymoon! The restaurants are different but so much of the area looks SO VERY much the same…We remember it as being just a nice wonderful final memory
Hi Chris. Thanks for the room tour. Nice room with a great view, especially at night. Wonderful that it's centrally located. The crib was a nice touch. The lobby was not a very inviting when you check in. And I also agree that the shower head was not a good idea. Thanks again and take care.

For me the hotel makes or breaks the trip. They are adventures all to themselves. That Eggs Benedict looked really delicious. P.S. The Traveling Princess is already a true blue adventure companion. 🥰

Usually You are the star of your video, Mr. Raney. But this time the star was the Travelling Princess! So CUUUUTE! 😃💛🐼
I always enjoy your hosting Chris but I have to admit this time, it was your 2 (3 with the latest addition) co-stars that had my full attention! 🥰☃️🎄👍

Thanks Chris for the video. I’m considering staying at this hotel when I hope to visit Vancouver in 2024. I suggest doing a best cheap eats in Vancouver video and/or more Vancouver hotel reviews, such as the Burrard, L’Hermitage, and/or St. Regis

@@YellowProductions is it a good hotel for first timers to Vancouver who do not have a car and/or don’t plan on renting a car in Vancouver?
Topher is back! Yes!
Good service, tasty food!
This video was very informative. Thanks for that. The only update to it is that now the parking cost is $41 a day for guests. I just started a multi day stay yesterday, and was surprised to hear that. All the best.

Heading to that hotel in a month and a half. Used a Globalist suite upgrade to confirm a standard suite. Stayed here 6 years ago and enjoyed it. Hope the open the RC soon.

I hope you enjoy it Larry! I'm finding many Hyatts STILL have their clubs closed.
Not all hotel rooms have the showerhead directly coming from the ceiling. I've stayed there three times, and would have remembered that. The showerhead has been on the wall for me. I'll be there again in December. It's modern and clean enough for me, and also convenient and right next to the Burrard light rail station.

@@YellowProductions, can you come to Toronto and do a video on our fair city? One other thing: Tim Horton's sucks, eat in your own hotel or go to an independent restaurant to have breakfast.
I like how surprised you were about the elevators. Downtown Toronto nearly every elevator is like that especially for office buildings.
@YellowProductions

Not surprised per se.. I've seen them quite a few times. But they are rare in the USA
Best part of the video...the traveling princess, of course.

What did you like most about Vancouver and what did you learn about it that you take with you? That is something I love about traveling (in my case different places in Sweden and Denmark those are the places that I have been to) but I love when I got home I hade learnt something new and special and also grown as an person.
@YellowProductions

Hmmm.. I guess this is more of a USA vs Canada thing. I learned that while we call the native people "Native Americans" I'm Canada they refer to them as "First Nation"
Next to a 24-hour Tim Horton's!!!! Sold!! (Note: was not going to watch this video until I had seen the blooper reel video, then I knew I had to watch!)

That looks like quite a nice hotel, but I agree that the showerhead is in a very awkward position. I would not really like it that much. Other than that, I think it looks like a great place to stay!
If i may ask whats on floors 17 and 18? I saw on the elevator control panel that they had padlocks on them meaning they need to be opened with a keycard

Not sure Yoshi
On your breakfast receipt 7:45 , it says 15% service charge included. Does this mean the tip is already calculated into the food prices? Is this common for Vancouver?
66 degrees is freezing.
How do you get to granville island from hotel?
@YellowProductions
Жыл бұрын
Take the subway to Yaletown. Then walk from the Yaletown subway stop to the Yaletown Ferry stop, and take the Ferry for a 5 min ride to Granville Island. If that sounds like too much work, then take a taxi or rideshare 😉

@@YellowProductions Thank you!
Can't afford to go
What do you mean NO BEARS in the room??? Tofer is a bear and you have him in your room. 2 hotels I recommend for Vancouver are the Parq or in Richmond the River Rock. Both are 24hr casinos. The River Rock has sky train from the airport right to your door and it will take you downtown in about 10 to 15 min for around $3.00.

Thanks for the tip Oldandwise :). And you're right.. Topher is a bear! A fearsome one too!
