This beaver is being raised by wildlife rehabbers after being orphaned as a newborn. Her parents were killed and their dam and lodge destroyed. Beavers are classified as nuisance animals in many US states and can be killed anytime. Beavers need to spend 2 years with their human rehabbers. They need to have lots of opportunities to practice instinctive behaviors. This beaver enjoys playing this game inside the house but lives with the other orphaned beavers outside most of the time. We hope you fall in love ! This misunderstood and unique species needs lots of it!
If you want to make donations towards our wildlife rescue fund, it’s called Woodside Wildlife Rescue. Every penny helps.

I need to be like this beaver. You know they picked all of this stuff up later when he was done. And he'll wake up the next day, see the dam gone, and be like "alright time to build another one" without even flinching or getting mad. Pure grind-set. Doesn't get paid for it, no one's forcing him to do it, will be sheltered and provided for regardless of whether he builds or not. But it's written into his DNA that he's gotta build, and nothing's going to stop him from it. I need that mentality when I go into work.

Once a beaver always a beaver.
I woke up this morning to a grey, miserable day, feeling the post holiday blues and this is the first video today…It’s not only put a smile on my face but actually made be laugh out loud. Thank you so much for posting this. That beaver deserves a huge treat 🐟 for bringing a bit of happiness into the world!

Love this family’s patience and non-interference!
To watch this little guy calculating his build is the cutest! I could watch him all day!
Bless his heart ! He’s gotta do what he’s gotta do ! I’m so glad his humans are allowing & facilitating this ! Sooo sweet !
Love the way he pats it all down in place... 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

The way she meticulously places each object and then stands on her hind legs with her little paws posed in the air for a second kills me! So cute and wonderful!

I love that beaver. Just going along steadily doing what he does best. We can learn a thing or two from them. He’s precious.
Absolutely adorable. Brought a smile to my face!
The crazy thing is in his mind the dams not just for him, but for the other family members in the house too. He’s building a dam to keep everyone safe. 😢

This is the cutest thing I've seen in a long while. Bless you for helping the little gal. Animals have every right to exist and do their thing as much as we do. Bless you guys. Truly epic to be doing that for her.

You can see her wanting to chew down the Christmas tree before realizing it was fake and then thinking to herself, "Never saw a tree like this before, but I'll make it work". LOL. So adorable.
Philosophy of Emmanuel Kant at work! Just as Frost is a “perfect artist” creating icy designs on windows, this Beaver is a perfect Natural architect! Nature deserves our Respect!
The cuteness is staggering. 😍 She’s thorough, and she doesn’t do anything half way.

It's amusing that you would defy hundreds of years of convention and assume it's female. Feminism in all its forms is hideous.
OK so I've watched this beautiful creature making her Christmas dam 5 times now. I love her tiny perfect hands and her serious thoughtful work ethic. What a privilege to be able to watch her work. She's so lovely, and you can see the intelligence in her eyes as she builds. I love her! ❤️

Just like birds don't have to be taught to build a nest (the beaver uses the mouth and two front limbs... Birds only the beak)
