One of the keys to owning and loving these cars is being able to do things like this yourself. Your content, including this one, is a great resource on the how but also giving me the confidence that I can do it. Thanks sir!

Beware of mice in that airbox area of winter stored saabs. My Viggen had a nice nasty nest built on top of the air filter itself! Imagine being the guy who drove it from Tennesee to Ohio, breathing that in! (Previous owner, luckily did not get sick from it, but hantavirus is no joke.)

@@KylePancis Yes they are. They love chewing wires and vacuum lines too. Found a boost line leaking due to that, when I bought it. Ran much better after that was replaced.

Thank you for this video! I had mice invasion in my garage and some of the found their way to the fan...they left a nut there so I cant have the fan on atm 😆 Will be easy to just access the fan and remove the nut and probably some mice shit..Hopefully everything is intact

Damn I wish the wiper arms only took that long lol jfc mine were no joke. Soaked em for days with pb blaster and still needed to really torque down vice grips to get them to pop 🤦

Hi Kyle, good job as usual..!👍🏾.Just a question, I thought that it was necessary to mark the position of the wipers arms on their axis before removing them.. 🤔how easy to reassemble was that..?

Great job ! You should replace the resistor or repair it ( I repair mine replacing a transistor) since it is almost the same job . But , nice! Greetings from Juarez, México

Nice video - thanks! I have a new blower here, just in case (well, it's a used one from a breaker...). Is it right that they don't really spin very freely, but stops suddenly after a revolution or so when you give it a twirl?

Possible, if you dont push the one side wall forward when installing it could deform the plastic a little....

Very hard to do. Wish I hadn't tried it. You may need a puller just to get the wipers off. The centre mount for wiper won't come out. So I'm stuck. Great videos for when all it goes well but that's not the reality of working with old cars. .

Reference the wiper bracket in the middle, is it ONE bolt and it slides out or two bolts on the top and one on the bottom? Very unclear.

I also have a 2004 9-5. The fan has made terrible noise from time to time for a few years. Now, the fan speed is very slow but functioning (about 20% of normal at high speed, and minimal at low speed). I really hope it is the fan, and I don't have to replace the resistor. Based on what I've said, should I be suspicious for a bad resistor?

crappy...I just read more online. I think it is the resistor. You other video looks very helpful in replacing it. It is just a giant pain in the butt. I'll make sure I remove the gas pedal to help
