This Video would be Great if it had some Verbal or Text Commentary on What he is doing, and Why. How to Properly open the Cable Clips would be of great value to many.

I know this comment is old as heck, but whatever. there are these very stupid plastic clips that work like a lock to keep the ribbon cable in place. you can 'unlock' them by getting the tip of a knife, or some very thin object whatever works for you. there should be a little tiny gap between the light plastic clip, and the brown plastic plug that the ribbon cable plugs into. try to wiggle it a bit, and kindof slide it away from the plug in the direction of the cable. and you might need to put a tiny amount of force on it.and it should slide out a tiny bit, and the cable should slide out.

Hi Park, I have a Dcr-hc40e, where the touch does not work in the sense that you see but does not respond to touch. What is the reason for this?

@ClickOnIt1 HC20 has USB/IEEE1394 interface. but I haven't use USB, I using IEEE1394. Install IEEE1394 interface card on your PC, and capture tapes in digital signal. If you already has analog capture card, you can use it. (need analog cable)

half of the stuff your doing is halfoff camera. I believe you want us to guess at the other half.
