Thanks for the video! I recently got a 2009 ninja 250r as my first bike ever and will be replacing the rear rotor soon, so this is quite helpful. Can you tell me where you got the digital torque wrench? Or provide a link?

It's my brother's wrench, made by MAC Tools, very expensive. You can get click wrenches for only $40.

@@ninja250motorcyclemaintena7 you weren’t kidding, just looked them up and they’re ~$500! At Home Depot, the cheapest click torque wrench is about $120, so if you have a recommendation for one that’s cheaper I’d love to know. Been needing a torque wrench for a while but been putting it off. Had a project today in fact where I needed one to torque a barrel nut. I need to stop procrastinating on that Thanks for the response either way! :)

How many miles do you have now? I remember watching your helpful vids years ago. I have a 2008 I bought in 2009. In 2015 I got in a bad accident and for last 6 years it's been in my garage with 27k miles un-ridden. I have to fix a few things and put all new plastics on bought 2016, but every week I fire it up and keep Stabil in the fuel

I was about to ask the same question. I remember in a video, he said that it was a daily driver. I'm wondering how long those 250cc engines actually last.

@@tonyhamilton7785 I think I was following NinjaRebel or something like that also, and it was one of the two that mentioned they got 45k out of it. Of course these motors wanted valves done every 12k or so, extending life. Unfortunately I only had it done once but the bike fires up strong especially for a freeway slide

@@tonyhamilton7785 I've seen used 2012 ninjas for $2k about 4 years ago. And the motors on Craig's for $500, so these are really economical bikes all around. Nothing changed from 08 to 2012. I got mine for $2700 with 600 miles on it off Craiglist because the rich fam wanted it sold and bought their kid a BMW instead lol

@@Roadsurfer2k11 Yea, it sounds like an american made bike cause of how easy it is to get parts lol. The only negative thing I heard about the Ninja250 is that it can't keep up on the highway

My guy, the most difficult isn't difficult at all. why couldn't you just remove the caliper. That's a bit lazy.
