I would use a torque wrench for the brake caliper bolts
thanks bro, very useful!! I managed to change my own brake pads based on your video. Of course I had to remove the stock exhaust, but it was not big deal. I Appreciate your video that gave me the courage!
Do all fish smell like brakes? LMAOOOO
So was the squeak still there? It could have been the contact points of the brake pads with the caliper squeaking. I always grease up the back of my car's brake pads where the pads come in contact with the caliper (obviously not the side of the pads contacting the rotor), I plan to do the same for my motorcycle when it needs a brake pad change.
Can I know what type any tools You need to change this. Like what size for all socket ?
Thanks for this man I didn’t think it’d be this easy
Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the video .!
Is the 250 enough power for you I'm trying to decide if the power of the 600 is worth the extra money what's your opinion?
Hey bro, good vídeo thanks!!
Just like mine bro just I got 2011
Best 125cc 11kw (14/15hp) beginners motor? Maybe a Honda CBR125?
Do you not need loctite on those bolts that hold the caliper on the bike?
You crack me up lol. About to do mine as soon as I motivate my ass off the couch...but it's so comfy. Thanks for the vid. Allways enjoy watching you cause of the random sh#t you say lol.
How you install this exhaust?
Thanks!
What year is your ninja 250?
Whats the part numbers for the pads?
I looked up the torque setting for the front calipers and it looks like its 23.6 foot lbs (or 32 nm) if you have a torque wrench. Its super tight.

I’m the words of my gunsmith in regards to an AR barrel nut, “you really don’t need a torque wrench for anything that requires 50 foot pounds or less, your barrel nut requires 40. You probably jerk off 40 foot pounds so you can definitely get it that tight with just a ratchet”
Hey Pwns! Love your Ninja 250 vids! Do you have links of where you bought your brake pads? I'm in Canada too so your vendor will probably ship to me also. Did I hear you right when you said the rear brake pads are the same for the front brakes also? Let me know, thanks!
U think that's bad I still trying to get my oil filter of lol 2 oil changes already still can't take it off. Need a pipe or something
Would you have to bleed the lines of you pumped the brake with the pads off?

No, just separate the pads. A lil tough but its just moving the pistons back. Did it today while doing fork oil and caliper wasnt on the rotor.
Those pads are the same for the 09?

I was wondering how long you think your ninja will last. been reading that you cant expect to get much miles out of them. It made me sad because i think all the ninjas are the best looking IMO
Would she mind if I went to the back first? LMAO
Lots of Ninja 250s have that front wheel squeak. I got new bearings when I got new rims and it eventually came back. The reason that rear caliper mount is loose is because it has to move with your rear wheel axel when you adjust the chain tension. You can do it without removing the factory exhaust but it all depends on where the wheel is adjusted to. You may have to loosen the axel and take the chain off the sprocket to access the bolts. You want to be careful because it is easy to dent the exhaust when the bolts break free.

+Emmett Turner How important are the torque specs for the caliper mounts?

+J Cab I'm no expert here but due to heat cycles and regular on/off stresses I would assume it's more important than most. Leverage is sometimes difficult. I usually used a sliding T-handle wrench from Harbor Freight to remove it but I've made do with a pipe going into an Allen key.
Lol ur ninjas have the same little fairing/inficator injury ^.^
