On this episode of INFLATED, I'm going to be showing you how I installed our new in house transom on this boat. It's not a step by step how to video, watch my other videos for that information. But this video does show the process I went through.
Remember to always use a 2 part glue when doing any structural repairs on your inflatable. I present these videos to you as a standard way of how one person can do these repairs themselves. I've got many years experience doing this, so if you have questions, please ask.

Has anyone told you you look like the Danger Marine guy? 😂
I fixed quite a few Zodiac Hypalon boats for fun, and yes, take time and enjoy is the way !! I have an issue with the inflatable keel of a mark 1 which is causing me a head ache .... did you do any video's on inflatable keel issues ? The end part at the transom is the sensitive part !!
How long does a replacement take you? And I guess double that for first timers? Just bought my first inflatable. American marine it has an air leak at the transom. Also lots of silicone at the floor connection

Sounds like you have a project to play with. Transoms usually take us 3-6 weeks. And would take the same amount of time for the average person. The reason is waiting for epoxies and gelcoats to cure as we use slow cure epoxies here to get maximum soaking of the boards.

I have a Quicksilver model QS330E. I was told to use RH adhesives HH-66 vinyl cement. So I ordered 32 oz of the glue will this work for repairing the Transom?

No do not use HH66. It's not made for PVC boats and isn't a structural adhesive. I know it's readily available on Amazon, but you'll regret using it.
Great video man, mine needs doing as well, did you make the transom yourself or got a new one from Zodiac? I TAKE IT I need to take the speed tubes out first ? What glue did you use ? Thanks

Transom at the time was too long of a wait and was pretty expensive, so we made one of our in shop built transoms. Glue we use is either Z7096 or Stabond UK-148. Both really good glue for PVC boats.
